"Zym, please! Eat your vegetables!" Ibis begged, holding out a large piece of broccoli to the young dragon prince.

Zym gave the broccoli a strange look before growling at it and shooting it with electricity.

Ibis dropped the broccoli and yelped. "I bet King Ezran eats all of his vegetables."

You walk up to Ibis, laughing. "Having troubles with zym?" You ask.

Ibis hangs his head in defeat and groans. "Zym if you don't eat your vegetables your mother is going to be angry at all three of us."

You pick up a purple vegetable and bite it. "Zym your missing out your never going to be a strong dragon without your vegetables." You hope saying this will convince him to eat them.

Zym growls at the vegetables, clearly uninterested in eating them.

"If you eat them, I'll give you a jelly tart!" You say, holding up the tart with the bright red filling.

Zym dives at the vegetables, eating them as fast as he possibly can.

"Zym are you-" Zubeia paused when she saw her son devouring the vegetables, even the broccoli. He sits and belches.

"Zym, manners!" Ibis says, chuckling.

Zym looks at the jelly tart and barks at you. "Alright here." You say, tossing him the tart.

Zym grabs it in mid-air and practically inhales the thing. Then he turns to look at his mother.

"We can't keep bribing him with jelly tarts," Ibis whispers to you.

You chuckle and press a jelly tart against his lips. Ibis blinks before snatching it between his teeth.

You smile.  "I knew you'd want it." You tease as he walks off with a wave of his hand.

Zibeia smiles. "We're off." She said. "Zym come it's time to leave."

Zym chirped happily and flew off after his mother.

You shake your head and go to find Ibis, wondering where he went. Not to your surprise, he was looking over the cliff's edge at the fluffy clouds.

He turns when he hears you walk up. "Hey," he says, smiling at you.

You smile back, snatching the small peace of jelly tart he still had and popping it into your mouth.

"Hey!" He says in a joking manner. "I was going to eat that!"

You chuckle at him. "I did buy them." You point out.

He shrugs and elbows you in a playful manner. "It's fine."

You smile and take a few steps back. "Trust fall!!" You shout, running and jumping off of the cliff edge with a smile on your face.

You hear ibis call your name as you fall towards the earth. He'll be here to catch me. You think, as you fall, you can now see the green earth below as you finish falling through the clouds. Any second now... you can make out the different trees. Where is he?!? You begin to panic Where is he?!?

That's when he swoops next to you and you put your arms around his neck. "I knew you'd catch me."

He smiles at you. "Of course, you are my best friend, I couldn't just let you fall." He points out.

You smile at him as he slowly lands on the ground.

"one of these times I'm not gonna realize you've jumped until it's too late," Ibis said, his wings turning back into arms.

"Yeah, sure," you say looking about at all the flowers. It was spring everything was growing at a rapid pace. You took a slow breath through your nose. The field smelled amazing.

You sat in the grass, and Ibis followed suit sitting next to you with a smile on his face.

-.-.-.-

"Ibis," You say turning to look at him. You gasp as he places a wreath of flowers on your head. You smile, and hold up your own "come here," you say.

He smiles at you eyes sparkling in the sunlight you let yourself get lost in those eyes for a moment before crossing your own, and making a funny face.

He chuckles and shakes his head. "You're a goof," he asks.

"Yeah, I know," you say, shrugging.

"Come on we should probably head back," he says, standing up and offering you a hand.

-.-.-.-.-

You let go of Ibis as he lands on top of the spire You smile at him, but his attention is elsewhere. "Stay here," he says in a tone you've never heard him use before. Was it worry?

You knew better than to argue, so you just nodded as he walked off quickly.

You stood, waiting patiently for his return, and for him to tell you that everything was fine, but then you heard a screech and bolted in fear that he would need your help, your heart had never beat like this in your life, but you were greatly concerned for ibis.

You follow the sounds of fighting into the dragon queen's lair, you gasp when you see an elf with green hair running down the steps and pick up a staff to attack Ibis as he uses his own to fight someone somehow familiar.

You ran down the steps as the elf went to stab ibis. You lunged, pushing him out of the way and taking the strike that was meant for him, you scream through your clenched teeth and then look at the staff embedded in your side. Your eyes went wide and your pupils dilated You delivered to blow to the elf before falling right into Ibis' waiting arms.

"Why would you do that?" he asked with a shaky voice. "why?" You could feel him trembling as he held you. You could hear the concern in his voice.

You gave off a weak Moan in response as the two ran off with a strange staff that had been embedded in your side, only moments before. Then... Your world went dark...
