May 8th 2019:

"Mum! I'm going to see Oliver!" Caroline shouts down the hallway to her mum. "Okay! Wish him a happy birthday from me!" The woman shouts back, from where she is cutting up vegetables in the kitchen. "I will do." Caroline yells back, grabbing the bag with her boyfriend's present in. "Hey, be safe." Joe pats his little sister's arm. "I always am." The girl rolls her eyes. "Yeah, I know you are, it's other people that are not to be trusted." The actor shakes his head. "Before you go." Joe grabs his sister's arm before she can slip out of the house.

"Yes?" Caroline looks up at the man. "Is it Simon who's getting you tonight?" The man wonders. "No, it's Paul who's getting me," Caroline tells him. "Okay, good me and Simon are fighting at the moment." Joe crosses his arms. "Is this something that can wait till later? Or is it serious?" The fifteen-year-old questions. "It's serious, and as you're going to Oliver's, I guess I can walk you." Joe shrugs, getting his coat from the hanger.

"Great, some sister and brother bonding time." Caroline sarcastically lifts both her thumbs and walks out of the house. "So Simon, says Will is better than Simon in the bloody inbetweeners! The cheek of him!" Joe scoffs, as the two walk down the street. "Seriously? It's been five years since the last inbertweeners movie came out. And you two are still going on about this?" The youngest shakes her head.

"Yes, because it is a very important subject." Joe nods. "None of your characters are the best." The girl laughs slightly. "What... then who?" Joe stops in his tracks and turns to Caroline. "Neil, obviously." She shrugs. "That is not fair. That's because you have a crush on Blake!" Joe pokes the girl, as they walk closer to Oliver's house. "No, I don't." Caroline rolls her eyes.

"No, you Don't what?" Oliver Bearman asks, walking out of his gate. "Have a crush on Blake." Caroline sighs. "Do you want the truth?" The boy asks his girlfriend. "Fucking, obviously Ollie." Care laughs. "You do, you have a fat crush on, Blake. And I despise him for it." The black-haired boy crosses his arms. "Okay, I'm leaving now." The eldest leans down to hug his sister. "You two. Behave." Joe motions between the two.

"Happy birthday Oliver." The man smiles, before walking off. "Thank you, Joe!" Ollie puts his thumbs up. "I Love you, Joe-Joe!" Caroline cups her hands around her mouth and shouts. "I love you, Care!" The man smiles, shaking his head.

"Hello." Caroline smiles brightly at her boyfriend. "Hello, Cece." The tall boy opens his arms for the girl. "Happy birthday, Bear." The girl smiles, handing her boyfriend present to him. "Thank you, Cece." Oliver smiles, kissing her cheek as he takes the bag, hugging her tight. "Caroline!" Thomas, Ollie's little brother runs out of the garden and hugs the girl's legs. "Tom the bomb, how are you?" The girl laughs, unwrapping her arms from Oliver and picks the boy up. "I'm good!" The ten-year-old shouts. "I'm glad." Care winks.

"I have to show you something." Tom suddenly remembers something putting his hands on the girl's head. "What is it?" Caroline gasps. "It's in my bedroom." The boy nods. "Well, we best not wait around then." The brunette shakes her head, walking into the gate, to the house. Oliver could only watch with a frown, knowing no matter what, this was his last day with the girl.

"Are you coming?" Caroline flashed the boy her smile, making him nod. "Yeah, just watching you leave me for my brother." Ollie points at the boy. "Not my fault she likes me better." Thomas shrugs. "Are you sure about that?" Oliver tilts his head. "One hundred per cent." Tom raises his eyebrows. "Cece, who's your favourite?" Oliver slings his arm over the girl's shoulders.

"Amalie!" Caroline shouts when she sees the seven-year-old. "Care, it's about time you're here!" The little girl sasses, walking towards the three. "I'm sorry, I've been busy." Care apologies, crouching down and kissing the girl's cheek. "My teddies have missed you! You need to come and see them." The girl tugs her hand. "I said I'll look at what Thomas wants to show me, first." The older girl shrugs.

"It's probably his Lego Ferrari car." The girl crosses her arms. "You spoiled it, Am! It was a surprise!" Thomas shouts, beginning to cry. "What now?" Terri asks herself as she walks out of the kitchen. "Oh hello, Caroline." The mother smiles, hugging the girl. "Hey, T." Caroline nods, wrapping her free arm around her. "What's wrong?" The woman looks at her youngest son.

"Amalie ruined the surprise!" The boy points to his younger sister. "Now why would you do that? You know Thomas was excited to show Care." Terri shakes her head. "I want Caroline to have a tea party, with teddies." Amalie stomps. "No, she's here to see me, not you and your teddies, Am." Oliver shakes his head, and places his hands on his girlfriend's back, slowly pushing her towards the stairs. "It's not fair!" The girl storms off.

"It's my birthday, of corse it's fair!" Ollie shouts at the girl as she storms into the living room. "Ollie, please don't shout at her." The boys mum tells him. "Okay, sorry." He whispers, looking down at the floor. Smiling when Caroline slides her hand onto his, entwining their hands together.

"Don't worry about her, she's overtired." David sighs, walking down the stairs. "David!" Caroline smiles, seeing the man. "Caroline!" The dad matches the girl's tone and hugs her. "It's so good to see you, but Ollie is desperate to get away so." The fifteen-year-old shakes her head. "It's fine, are you staying for lunch?" David wonders. "Asking the good questions now, David. I am if that's okay?" The girl looks between the parents.

"Always, Caroline. You're always welcome." Terri smiles, walking to the kitchen with her husband following behind her. "Whose Ferrari is it?" Caroline asks Thomas as they walk upstairs. "Sebastian Vettel's Obviously." The boy shrugs as they walk in the direction of his room. "Be quick." Oliver shakes his head. "I will, then I will be straight into your room." Caroline smiles, before walking into Tom's room.
