AN// I was heavily debating if this should mature or just a sick fic but I found out along the way I guess. It will be soft, no spicy parts. A picture of some art I drew is at the end if y'all wanna see too - that one Versace airport picture. 🫶🏼

A flashback.

The day had been normal. Felix had just gone through a full schedule of classes, now off on a Friday afternoon. He stops to get takeout for two people, knowing he and Hyun-Jin will probably get hungry later when they hang out and study. That said, right after classes ended he got a call from the other to meet him in their usual spot upfront - so they could walk to the dorms together. The day had been normal, up until then. Utilil he had come around the corner, a few meters away from meeting Hyun-Jin when he heard a pair of voices other than his;

"When are you guys finally gonna date? It's obvious you both like each other," He recognized it as Ji-sung's voice. Felix stopped in his place at that, taking a step back slightly to peek his head out from the side.

"Yeah, when? It's painful to watch you guys go on like friends without acknowledging your feelings for each other."

"I'm getting there," Hyun-Jin responded with a shrug. He's in no rush, but still. "I don't want to scare him off, but if you guys stop bothering me when I do confess—you'll leave me be, right?"

"Of course!" Ji-sung and Jeong-in nodded in unison.

-.-.-

While he was in the middle of studying, Felix's phone suddenly began ringing, playing the familiar default tone of the iPhone. He set his pencil down and watched it ring a few times, thinking it was an unknown call from someone he had been avoiding - a scammer even, but then it kept going. And going. And going. They hung up only for the caller ID to appear on the screen again a few seconds later. That was enough to make him realize it wasn't either of those possibilities, and he reached out to finally pick it up, looking at the caller id that read:

Bokkies Chicken.

Or in other words, his part-time job. Felix was quick to accept it then, almost dropping his phone with how hard he swiped on the green button. "Hello? This is Lee Felix." He answered quickly, trying not to sound too concerned as he tried to think about what exactly could this call be for - what he possibly did wrong last week, maybe, but he didn't even think he had done anything. He would know. Not to mention it was Saturday so he couldn't help but wonder why they were calling because he normally only clocks in on weekdays, being a university student still.

"Hey Lix, sorry for calling you so late." A voice spoke a little after him. Alongside that he could hear background noise - someone whispering, or perhaps laughing? He didn't pay it any mind, didn't have time to. "Would it be possible if you could come in today? just for a few hours? We're a little short-staffed and it's bustling. Of course, only if you're available." It was his manager, but also his best friend, Bang-chan.
