The morning sun spilled through the curtains, gently waking Kashe as she lay beside Milly, the warmth of their night together still lingering in the room. She couldn't resist the urge to wake him with a kiss.
Kashe leaned over and pressed her lips to Milly's, a soft and sweet morning greeting. His eyes fluttered open, and he greeted her with a drowsy smile. "Good morning," he murmured.
"Morning," Kashe replied, her voice filled with a mix of affection and playfulness. "Sleep well?"
Milly nodded, drawing her closer. "Like a baby. What's the plan for today?"
Before Kashe could answer, her phone buzzed on the bedside table. She grabbed it and saw a FaceTime call from Keem, her cousin. She answered, and Keem's face filled the screen, his eyes narrowing as he took in Kashe's appearance.
"Kashe, where you at? Your hair's all messed up. You at Milly's house?" Keem asked while squinting his eyes in confusion
Kashe tried to look nonchalant but failed miserably. "Uh, yeah, Keem, I'm at Milly's. We, uh, had a late night."
Keem's expression turned mischievous. "I know that better not mean what I think. Alright, y'all have fun."
Kashe sighed in relief as the call ended, but just then, she received a group FaceTime call from Jaylen and Nina, her best friend and Nina's boyfriend.
Kashe answered, and the screen filled with their faces, all grinning mischievously.
Jaylen decided to start the convo off "Well, well, well, what do we have here? Kashe, are you spending the night at Milly's?"
Nina chimed in, her tone teasing while Cam peeked his head in the back. "Yeah, Kashe, we saw the location. Tell us everything!"
"Was the dick bomb?"
"I hope you wasn't screaming."
"Are you pregnant? Omgosh."
Kashe couldn't help but roll her eyes at her friends' antics. "You two are so nosy. We just had a late night, that's all. And don't ever ask me that question again."
Milly, who had been listening to the conversation with an amused grin, decided to chime in. "And we're planning to have a great day today. Any suggestions?"
Jaylen and Nina exchanged knowing glances before bursting into laughter. They were clearly enjoying teasing Kashe and Milly.
Jaylen added, "Well, you two enjoy your day. We'll catch up later, and you better spill all the details you little nasties."
Nina added with a wink, "Have fun, you lovebirds."
As the call ended, Kashe and Milly couldn't help but laugh.
After their friends' playful teasing, Kashe and Milly found themselves wrapped in the comfort of each other's arms once again. The morning sunlight bathed the room, casting a warm glow on their entwined bodies.
Milly, his eyes filled with affection, couldn't resist the temptation. With a mischievous grin, he gently smacked Kashe's ass.
With a reluctant goodbye to the coziness of Milly's bed, Kashe got up to start her day. She prepared for her lash appointment at her studio, promising to call Milly later when she was free.
After a quick shower and some freshening up, Kashe hopped into her sleek white BMW X5. She decided to treat herself to some McDonald's breakfast, savoring the familiar flavors of a morning indulgence. Dressed in Keem's oversized denim tears hoodie, she continued on her way to her lash studio, ready to work her magic.
