Kashe stirred in her bed as the soft morning light filtered through the curtains, shining a warm glow on her bedroom. Her phone buzzed on the nightstand, and she reached out to silence it, still groggy from sleep.

But the caller's persistence finally woke her. It was Nina, and her phone had been ringing nonstop. Kashe sat up, blinking away the remainder of sleep, and answered the call with a yawn, "Hello?"

Nina's voice, laced with concern and urgency, filled the line, "Kashe, it's been five days since that night. Y'all need to talk, girl."

Kashe, her mind slowly clearing, couldn't help but feel annoyed and unease as she replied, "Yeah, Nina, we do."

She hung up the phone and swung her legs out of bed, her thoughts still heavy with the events of that night. It had been a long five days of avoidance and silence between her and Milly. Their once vibrant and passionate relationship had grown cold and distant. Kashe hadn't gone out the house besides work and to her beauty studio for appointments.

With a sigh, Kashe knew she couldn't keep avoiding it any longer. She picked up her phone, hesitated for a moment looked for the contact Fave♥️, and sent Milly a text: "We need to talk. Can we meet up later?"

Milly's reply came, and it was as nonchalant as she had thought it would be, "Sure, whatever. Let me know when and where. Make it quick though."

Kashe sighed and tossed her phone to the side, realizing it was raining which called for a gloomy day

Kashe knew that this conversation wouldn't be easy, no matter where they had it. She typed out, "Let's meet at your place, around 6 PM?"

Milly's response was a simple "Fine," which only added to the growing tension between them.

Kashe sighed and set her phone aside. It was clear that their relationship was at a crossroad, and the conversation would determine whether they could find a way back to each other

Kashe was beginning to catch feelings for Milly and it was safe for Milly to say the same. She was upset that Milly didn't defend her let alone that he let Lia play in her face.

As Kashe confirmed the meeting time with Milly, she glanced at the time on her watch, which read 4:30 PM. Realizing she had some time to get ready, she decided to freshen up. She headed to the bathroom and turned on the shower, letting the warm water wash away the tension from her body.

After her shower, Kashe took her time getting ready, throwing on a lazy day fit. Kashe decided to show her face on instagram since it had been a while and she had gone ghost for a few days.

Before leaving, she reached for her favorite perfume, "You're the One," and sprayed it, this spray is definitely for the girls that get it Kashe thought

Kashe slipped into her slippers, grabbed her BMW X5 keys from the counter, and headed out the door. As she sat in her car, she decided to set the mood for the drive with some Keyshia Cole. She turned up the volume and let Keyshia's soulful voice fill the car as she sang along to one of her favorite songs, "I Remember," her voice matching the raw emotions of the lyrics

Kashe chuckled as she began to scream the lyrics ""Love, never knew what I was missin',
But I knew once we start kissin', I found, found you."

As Kashe continued to drive and sing along to Keyshia Cole, her phone started ringing. She glanced at the incoming call and saw it was Jaylen, her best friend. She answered, and Jaylen's face appeared on the screen.

"Hey bitch!" Kashe greeted her with a smile.

Jaylen's voice was filled with excitement, "Girl, I've been trying to reach you! You won't believe what just happened."

Kashe, intrigued, asked, "What's going on?"

Just then, a familiar voice chimed in from the background. It was Keem, her cousin and part of their close-knit group of friends. "Cousin, I can't believe you've taken my boy from us."

Kashe, her curiosity piqued, leaned closer to the phone and asked, "Alright, y'all losing me. What's happening?"

Jaylen couldn't contain her excitement as she spilled the news, "Girl, you know how we've all been waiting for this drama between you and Milly to blow over, right?"

Kashe nodded, "Yeah, it's been a mess."

Keem, who had been quiet for a moment, finally joined in, "Well. Milly just posted on his Instagram story about you!"

Kashe's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "He did? What did he post?"

Jaylen quickly switched to her phone's screen-sharing feature, and Kashe could see Milly's Instagram story.

Keem, grinning, added, "Looks like someone's trying to patch things up."

Kashe, still processing the unexpected turn of events, replied, "Yeah, it seems that way. We'll see how this convo goes."

As she continued her drive, Kashe couldn't help but wonder what this meant for her and Milly. It was clear that things were far from resolved, but perhaps this was the first step towards getting that passion back.
