📍Kashe's Townhouse📍
|August 5, 2023|

"Hey boo." I said while answering Milly's call since the party 2 weeks ago we've been texting here and there , getting to know each other more

"I am not one of ya homegirls or clients." His voice boomed through the phone as he smiled showing his diamond grills

"Let me wax you and give you a volume set then you'll be one." I said as he looked at me dumbfounded

"Shut up. What you doing right now? I'm in your area." He said as I saw him pulling out the mall down the block from me

"You can pull up, I plan on staying in anyways." I said as I went upstairs to put on some clothes

Milly's deep laugh echoed through the phone. "Alright, bet. I'll be there in a minute. A Nigga don't like waiting too long either."

I couldn't help but grin as I hung up the call and made my way downstairs to wait for Milly while turning on Halloweentown, the ones that get it get it

A short while later, I heard a car engine pulling up outside. I opened the door to find him leaning against his ride, grinning from ear to ear. "Well, well, well, look who's here to pamper me."

Milly walked up to me, he definitely had a sense of style I thought to myself taking in his outfit. "I heard you're the queen of making people look fly. I had to see for myself."

You rolled your eyes playfully. "Don't get too comfortable. I'll have you looking so new; you won't even recognize yourself."

The night had taken a decidedly flirty turn, and me and Milly couldn't resist the temptation between us two

Milly leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. "You know, Kashe, you got me interested. What else do you specialize in?"

I grinned, enjoying the flirtatious game. "Oh, I have a whole bag of tricks, but I only share my secrets with the special ones."

Milly chuckled, his eyes locked onto mine. "Well, consider me special and wanting to learn more."

I could feel my legs tingling at the smell of his cologne and I began to lean in as he did the same

As you and Milly leaned in closer, the anticipation between you both was intense. It felt like the moment was building up to something exciting. Just as your lips were about to meet, your phone rang, causing you both to sigh in annoyance

I pulled away with a sigh, reaching for your phone. "Hold on."

Milly leaned back, "No problem, handle your business baby girl."

You answered the call, and it was your cousin Nina on the line. Her voice sounded anxious, and she spoke quickly, "Kashe, I need your help. It's some bullshit going down at Keem's place, and they're bugging the fuck out. Can you come over?" She said while I heard yelling in the back as I heard her yell at somebody "Shut the fuck up bro before I smack you."

I exchanged an annoyed glance with Milly, realizing that Nina's call meant there was some drama happening. "Yeah, Nina, I'll be there soon. Just hang on."

As I hung up and turned to Milly, I could see the confusion in his face. "Chile it's always some bullshit with black folks. Some shit going down at Keem's."

"Motherfuckers always ruining a bitch freak nasty time." I mumbled slipping on my Balenciaga runners in case I gotta smack a bitch

Milly nodded, his expression serious. "Let's go see what's happening. I'll come back with you later."

With a shared understanding, me and Milly rushed to Keem's place, ready to find out  whatever drama had arisen and put me about to get some on hold for the time being.

Me and Milly hurriedly got into his car, the flirtatious atmosphere from moments ago now replaced by a sense of urgency.

Upon arrival, Keem's place was chaotic. People were scattered about, some looking scared, others agitated. Keem and Poopie, usually the two laughing and making jokes, were at the center of it all, attempting to keep the situation from escalating further.

Nina rushed over to you, her relief evident. "Kashe, thank goodness you're here. It's a mess and I'm two seconds from telling one of these niggas go get they mama to fight."

I chuckled, taking in the scene which honestly looked as chaotic as I thought, "What happened?"

Nina explained that a disagreement had erupted between some old friends and Keem's crew. d.

Milly took a step forward, his presence commanding attention. "Wassup y'all, I need everybody to do me a favor! If you don't live here get the fuck out!"

Milly and Keem managed to diffuse the situation between the guys after having to punch one of the dudes in his mouth

As the night settled into a more relaxed feeling, you and Milly couldn't help but notice the glances and glances exchanged among your friends. It was obvious they had picked up on the chemistry between you two, especially after witnessing how you had arrived together, looking like Connie and Slyde

Nina couldn't resist teasing you, "Kashe, Milly, y'all showing up together like y'all Queen and Slim."

"Shut up girl ain't shit going on." I said side eyeing her "I was about to give him a wax."

"Anything to see some dick. Literally shaking my head." Poopie said as everybody began dying of laughter

I got up slowly causing everybody to think I'm upset and ran to Poopie tackling him on the ground "Say you're sorry." I said as I had him in a headlock

"Omg somebody get this bitch off me. She heavy as fuck I think she's backed up." Poopie said as he began tapping the floor indicating that I won

I got up and flipped my ginger install while mushing Poopie's head "And that my friends is how you beat a bitch up."

With the chaos of the night behind you, you couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the people who had become like family to you in the ghetto streets of Brooklyn.
