*Tails' POV* Jules' jet was covered in a lime substance with a resemblance to that of Venom. His jet slowly loses it's shape and looks like a blob. A long blob. The Canon uses EXTRA pressure to send Jules back a few metres. "Jules! Are you ok!?", I ask into my communication device. "*sniff* I'm good... Maybe...", is what I hear at the other end. The jet slowly gains less and less resistance to the sheer power of the cannon. Jules moves the jet left but the cannon follows him. He does the same with the right and receives the same result. I contact his cockpit once again. "Jules! We gotta get you out of there! The cannon is too strong", I shout into presumably his ears. "No... I think... Ah... I'm weak. The windshield is cracking!", Jules responds. "Then get out of there!", I reply to his comment. The cannon doesn't spare any energy to sympathise with Jules' jet and eventually cause a hole in his shield. Jules is forced to retreat and move back but they canon still locks on to his jet. He is forced to try and somehow ditch the huge beam of chemicals being launched at him. Tails sends a signal to Jules' jet to launch the pilot out. Just as Jules is released, his jet, IMPLODED. His body which, is still connected to his chair, is launched to the Blue Typhoon. Tails managed to grab him using a robotic arm. "I can't tell what Eggman is planning. It must be big though. If I can just get a hold of his files aboard that ark", I think to myself. I need a plan B. And fast...
*Silver's POV* Sonic is gone in a flash. As his body flies above the forest below, it seems to take a few hits on a large amount of no birds. Sally and I need to asses the situation right to recognise the situation in the correct manner. I'm out of ideas so, I ask Sally what just happened. She assumes that he's been attacked. I look to the direction he was launched at. I rush to his body with Sally still floating behind me as we move. I get to where his body is and it looks like he's stuck. "You need help?", I ask him. "Nah. I think I'm good. These webs cushioned my fall", he replied to my request. "Wait, to said webs? What kind?.. Do you mean spider webs?", Sally asked in fear. "Oh. I didn't think of that. I've dealt with enough spiders to know what kind of effect they can have.
Sonic's POV
As I tumble down the branches, my mind races. I barely manage to glimpse Sally and Silver levitating, their concern etched across their faces. Then, in an unexpected twist, I find myself caught mid-fall. Hovering in the air, I notice Silver beside Sally. "Let's go! We don't have time!" he exclaims urgently. Confusion lingers in my mind as I struggle to comprehend the situation. "What do you mean!? Wait, watch out!" I barely manage to utter before being catapulted further than my speed could cover in seconds—over 500 kilometers. I crash through the forest, branches snapping and grassy ground tumbling beneath me.
Shadow's POV
In the midst of chaos, the main control room explodes, launching me towards the lift. Surprisingly, Eggman lies unconscious nearby. A fire alarm triggers, spraying water that appears oddly green and toxic. The fire intensifies, turning green and bright until an explosion occurs. Pain surges through me as my skin burns and turns lighter. Feeling like a deflated paste pierced by a septillion needles, I cling to hope, hoping my chaos emerald can save me.
