Dee stands behind the bar, watching (Y/N) talk to a handsome guy at one of the booths.
Cricket enters the bar, taking his usual seat at the end of the bar. He follows Dee's gaze.
"What are we looking at?" He asks.
"(Y/N) has been talking to that cute guy for like, an hour. They seem like they've really got a connection."
"Hm. Do they now?" He replies sarcastically. Dee glances at him.
"She's not yours, ya know." Dee replies. Cricket scoffs.
"She should be." He mumbles under his breath. Dee rolls her eyes.
"You sound like Dennis." She says, purposely trying to stir the pot. This catches the scruffy man's attention.
"Dennis? Dennis likes her, too?!" He exclaims. Dee smirks.
"Yep. Tough luck, Cricks." She smirks.
"How am I supposed to compete with Dennis?!" He cries, dropping his head into his hands. She decides to cut him some slack.
"Well, Dennis is in competition, too."
Cricket lifts his head up.
"What? With who?" He asks, feeling hopeful once again. Dee grins and puts a finger to her lips.
"Can't tell you." Is all she replies.
Their attention is pulled away from their conversation when (Y/N) approaches the bar.
"So..." Dee presses.
"So?" (Y/N) asks, confused.
"That guy was pretty cute...did you get his number?"
(Y/N) sighs.
"He asked for my number, but I wasn't interested."
"Why not? Someone else strike your fancy?" Cricket speaks up.
"Yes. But he doesn't seem to notice." She sighs, taking a seat at the bar.
"And, pray tell, who might this man be?" He asks.
"I'm not telling." She replies playfully.
"Ohhh, someone has a secret crush?" Mac asks, joining the trio.
"Yep. And I'm not telling." (Y/N) replies, shaking her head.
"You won't even tell your gay best friend?" Dee teases. Mac groans. (Y/N) giggles, but stops herself when she sees Mac's annoyed expression.
"I'm sorry, Mac. But I'm not telling anyone. I didn't even mean to tell Dee!"
"What about telling me?" Cricket asks, hopefully. (Y/N) places a gentle hand on his scruffy cheek.
"Aw, Mathew. No. I'm not telling anyone." She replies. She removes her hand from his cheek and grabs her tray, heading back off to deal with the customers.
Cricket gently touches his cheek. Mac and Dee share a knowing look.
"So, Dee. If you won't tell us who it is, will you at least tell us who it isn't?" Mac tries to bargain. Dee laughs.
"Well, it's pretty obvious if you pay attention." Dee grins. Mac and Cricket exchange confused looks.
The door opens a moment later and Dennis and Charlie enter the bar. (Y/N)'s eyes light up when she sees the two. They take their seats at the bar beside Cricket.
"What's going on, dudes?" Charlie asks.
"Trying to figure out who (Y/N) has a crush on." Mac informs them. Dennis sits up a little straighter, his attention peaked.
