Chapter 1

Good Morning Everyone...

I'm Shahasra Roy, 28 years old Indian diplomat in South Korea, being a Diplomat is what i dreamt of. Yes, its hard to stay away from the family in a different country but this is the lifestyle i choose for myself. So, I'm pretty much satisfied with my life expect one thing... let it be, its not the time discuss about it. I used to work in USA, transferred here two years back, I'm very comfortable here, i made new friends here and its very good to live here. Unlike others, who live away from family, i live very healthy lifestyle, maybe because of my profession but Sundays are my cheat days, the day i let out all my stress, pressure, everything and live like no other day, my Sundays were like eating, drinking, shopping and parties. I love investing my time on cooking, dancing.... i love shopping, trying different styles but my ultimate style is formals, suits, as I'm a diplomat and sarees (I can never say no to saree).

Coming to my family, its very lovely, sweet, chaotic. I was born with silver spoon but my parents never spoiled me, they always talk about values, manners and they taught us to live on our own without depending on them. I think the present me is a product of their teaching, their hard work made who they are, so as me. Though, they are strict about teachings, but never an orthodox parents, who forces their ideals on their children, they always supported our endeavors, goals, lifestyle. All in all, I'm living a pretty comfortable life. Ok, that's it about me, lets dive into my story.

Authors Pov :-

Shahasra woke up early in the morning, went for a jog for an hour along the han river. After returning to her bungalow provided by Embassy in UN village, she started getting ready to reach her heaven in Seoul i.e., her own apartment in hannam the hill, where she spends all her Sundays mostly.
