The sun awoke in Visenya's bedchambers as the maidens drew the curtains back. The birds chirped as the young girl's eyes fluttered open

Princess Rhaenyra kept her tears in as she stepped into her daughter's chambers. Visenya lay with her head smooshed onto the soft pillow and her hair clammed to her skin.

"Visenya, dear" Rhaenyra softened as her daughter awoke from her deep sleep

Her arms stretched out as she let out a little yawn, Confused to as why she must be awakened at this time in the early light. She didn't want to let go of the dream she just had.

A dragon as big as Vhagar had soared through the night sky and she was on the back of the Dragon.

It was big and fierce and as dangerous as it can be. It could have been recoiled as Aegon the Conqueror's dream as she remembered through her vision

"Mother, you woke me from the most glorious dream" Visenya spoke as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes

"Is that so?" Rhaenyra tucked a strand of the young girl's hair behind her ear

"I rode a dragon, Mother" Her eyes were so bright as she passionately spoke

"It rode through the night sky with me on its back" Her smile brought much comfort to Rhaenyra

"I just wish it was real, but it felt so true" The sweet girl's smile turned into a frown as the reality came to truth

"Visenya, you will have a dragon, and it will soar and roar and protect you at any cost" Rhaenyra pledged as she wrapped her arms around her daughter

"Like syraxs?" Visenya desired

"Oh yes, and the next clutch of eggs" The little girl nestled into her mother's chest

"One of them will hatch and rise into the sky and it will be yours" She kissed her daughter's cheek as she held in her tears

"Mother, what is wrong?"

"My darling girl, your brothers will need you"

Without a second word, the little girl wandered out to spot her brothers who both sat by the fire

Visenya watched as Ser Harwin entered the room with his sword clung close to him and held a distraught look on his stubby face. The maids left the scene at once to not witness
——————-
The infant squirmed in his mother's arms as if the baby felt the unease

"Be good to your mother lad" Ser Harwin leaned to Lucery's level
"I will visit as I can" He spoke softly towards the young boys

"But that may be some time" Jacaery's ran over to Rhaenyra and Visenya as she stayed close to her mother

"Jace" She soothed as she ran her hands through her son's thick locks

"Look after him" Ser Harwin looked down as Visenya clung to her mother

"Promise, ser Harwin" The little girl pledged
"Good"

"I will return, I promise" Ser Harwin lifted the little prince's chin soothingly
Jacaery's nodded to the empty words

Ser Harwin looked down at the bundle in the princess's arms and placed a soft kiss on the crown of the baby's head.

Caressing the wisps one last time

"I will be a stranger when we meet again" Ser Harwin pleaded for Rhaenyra's eyes to meet his one last time but she couldn't as she would have crumbled

"Princess," he said his farewells one last time before wrapping his sword around his armour and heading out of the room with no look behind him
