Chapter 5 (a)

After talking to Luke about Amanda and sending him out of the house, I make my way towards Em’s room. I need to be extra careful before entering or even coming in front of her. Who knows what all is going in her mind right now. Knowing her nature and what all I did this morning, I am sure about one thing- she is not going to welcome me with open arms. I wish she do but only in my dreams.

Without even knocking on the door, I slowly open the door to her room. I can’t see her around so I quietly enter like a pink panther and look around. Finally I see my target- Em, lying on the bed holding her stomach. Oh how can I forget this, her stomach cramps must have started.

“Ow...Oh God..My stomach” with eyes closed, she is murmuring, holding her stomach. I may not show this but I am feeling really bad for her right now. She is in pain coz of me. Taking off my shoes, I slowly move to the other side of the bed and sit beside her.

“Should I wait for her to open her eyes or should I tell her” I ask myself and finally selecting the second option, I call her name.

“Em...” but no response.

“Em..” I call a bit loudly, still no response.

I shake her a bit and she finally sits on the bed and says without even breathing “Luke, me and Ryan slept together and he is not allowing me to tell this to you and he is blackmailing me..”  

“Finally...it feels so good.” she sighs as a big smile creeps on her lips.

“Oh Really..” I chuckle and she looks at me, realizing that’s it’s not Luke but me.

“ARGH...It’s you...” she says and gets up from the bed as I lay down, looking at her cute- irritated face.

“Why? You were expecting someone else..”

“Where’s Luke..?” she ask. Now that she has told the big secret to me, the old Emily is back.

“He had some work..why?” 

“Okay..Are you free?” she turns around with a cute smile on her face. The only one she uses when she needs something from me. This is so not the Em, I know.  Time to put my thinking cap.

“What’s the deal?”  I get up from the bed and move towards her. Standing in front of her I wait for her to open her mouth as that big smile is not leaving her face even for a second.

“Now she is battling her eyelashes...” Oh no no no no...this is so not the Em I know.

“Ryan..” she says in the most sugar coated voice I have hardly heard from her mouth.

“Yea...Yeah...” I shutter, taking a step back to keep some distance. This is so not looking good.

“I want to...” she takes one step towards me as I take one step back, looking around making sure the door  is open so I can run.

I may be the stronger one but when she acts like this, you know acting so sweet and giving me the cutest smile I have ever seen---- something really bad always happen to me or Luke.

I am saying this from my experience.
