Ryan’s POV

I never imagined Em forcing me like this for her work. Why did I even send Luke out? WHY? Maybe if I haven’t then Luke would have been in my position. He must be enjoying with Amanda and here I am stuck with Em. Not that I mind but the kind of work I am doing right now, Luke would have been a better option.

We are sitting watching some chick flick in the theatre and it’s so BORING...like really boring and I know as a matter of fact that Em herself is hating it to the core but just to piss me off she is watching that movie.  Sometimes I find it very amusing to see the extent she’ll go just to get back to me.

More than me, its Em yawning throughout the movie but whenever I look at her, she is pretending like it’s the most interesting movie she has ever watched. As if I don’t know.

If this is limited to watching movie, I would have been okay but it’s just the icing on the cake. After this movie is going to get over, she has plans of taking us to shopping. I mean, she’ll be the one doing the shopping while I’ll be walking holding her bags. I don’t know what dress she saw few days back that she has been talking non-stop about it.

With Luke’s money that she took from him, she has this big smile on her face from the time I said “yes” about this whole trip.

She used her “Em” charm and me- just one smile from her and I get bowled, like today. She looked at me with that cute smile on her face and I couldn’t help but fell for her smile. I had no idea what she was asking for and I nodded for her every request having no idea what she was asking in the first place.  It was only when she jumped in air; I came back to earth realizing what mess I am going to be.

“Thank God” I look up at the almighty as the movie is finally over. If you ask me, I have no idea what movie we were watching in the first place and I am sure even Em has no idea but like always she won’t admit.

Let me show you....

I look at Em and she has the same expression as mine.

“The movie was nice...I really enjoyed it..” I say smiling and she return it, nodding.

“Johnny Depp was so good...isn’t”

“Yeah...” she replies keeping a straight face and GOTCHA...I may not be watching the movie but I know as a matter of fact that there was no Johnny Depp in the movie..See it’s so simple to get back to her. though I am dying to say this to her but we have a long day to go so let’s see what more Drama is coming my way.

We move out of the theatre and make way towards the food court. We are sitting at the table when my eyes notice a familiar face in the crowd. Narrowing my eyes and looking more closely, I realize that the familiar face is too familiar to escape.

Amanda and Luke are sitting few tables away from us. "Off all the places in the city why only this?" I think cursing my bad luck. Em’s back is towards them so she hasn’t noticed them. I don’t mind calling Luke but Amanda...not even in my dreams.

I look at Em and she is busy eating her burger and sipping her cola.

“Em...” I whisper and she looks at me.

“WHAT?” she says a bit loudly and I keep my finger on my lips to make her quiet.

“Luke is here..” I tell her and in excitement she is about to turn when I grab her hand making her stop.

“Amanda is with him...” I complete the sentence and the excitement on her face is replaced by a shock.

Amanda is one of the few topics where we don’t argue coz we both have the same kind of feeling towards her. I don’t know how Luke handles her but for us she is the most Boring and irritating person we have ever come across. We have no other option but to leave before she sees us. If Luke knows that we are here, we'll have to spend the rest of the day with them- something I am so not looking forward to and I am sure even Em shares the same opinion.

“Are you ready?” I ask and she nods. She quickly grabs burger and cola, not to forget mine too, such a foodie she is and gets up. We are almost, like almost at the exit when we hear her voice.

“Luke look your sister and Ryan..” she almost scream making everyone turn their faces towards the source of her finger that is we offcourse and looks at her.

We have our backs towards them but still can feel their intense gaze.

“Run...” I tell to Em.

She nods and we run out at full speed, not knowing where we are going except that two pairs of legs are following us.
