We got our supplies and headed out to the sight where the avalanche happened. Lola always took her own vehicle. I'm always having to ride with the two men who always sweat so much to the point where I can't breathe.
We made it to the sight and there was snow everywhere, hints the avalanche. There was a team that always gathered objects from the victims.
Lola always had a note book on her that she would write down, well I don't actually know what she was writing. I never thought to ask. She seemed very concentrated on what she was writing.
We were digging through the snow looking for the missing men. When out of nowhere there was a yelp from our search dogs.
We ran over to see what she had found. There was a hand sticking out of the snow. It was one of the men. The man's name was Carl. He was 6'5 and weighed 300 pounds. He unfortunately did pass away from being suffocated by the snow.
