Once school was over I walked home, like I said I hate riding the bus.
"Hey love how was school?"
"It was alright...I guess"
I heard some beeping noise outside I went to go see what it was it was a uhaul truck outside.
"Mom who's moving in across the street?"
"Apparently are new neighbors since Mr.Wallace moved out...."
I missed Mr.Wallace. He was a funny guy and he would always help me with projects and homework, you can say he's like a father I never had.
"Katie Alice Ballard did you hear me?"
I hate when my mom calls me by my full name.
"What?"
"I said go over there and welcome them to the neighborhood"
"Mom it's not my job its yours, you're suppose to bake a cake and YOU welcome them"
"Katie..."
"Fine"
I stomped off "you're to lazy to do any thing", I murmured
"What?"
"Nothing mom"
You can tell they just moved in the yard was a mess, furniture and boxes everywhere
