Hey... So I forgot to update yesterday... Here's your next chapter!
My name is Nick Barnes. I have dark brown hair and light brown eyes. My parents owned a wheat farm, which I inherited when they passed away a couple of years ago. I have a son named Parker Barnes, who is a son of Demeter. Chiron invited all mortal parents to Camp Half-Blood for a day, as he does every 5 years. This is how I met Percabeth...
"Dad!" My Parker came running down the hill. I engulfed him in a hug. "Parker! How's camp?" He flashed a grin and pulled me down from what I heard was 'Thalia's tree'. Many parents were already hanging around the camp, chatting with their child.
A horn beeped and all parents and children were invited to the dining plaza. "Greetings! I am Chiron, Camp Half-Blood's activity director." Blah Blah Blah. He continued on talking about rules of camp, and if there was a monster, to let our children handle it.
"I would like to bring up Percy Jackson, two time savior of Olympus!" Two times! Dam, he must be a good hero! A boy about 18 walked on stage. He has raven hair, that looked like a comb hadn't passed through in ages. His eyes were a sea-green, so stormy, you could get lost in them.
"Hey, um, I'm Percy Jackson-" Some parent from the crowd interrupted and asked his godly parent. "My godly parent is Sally Jackson-"
"No Seaweed Brain! He meant Poseidon!" Some girl with blonde hair yelled from the crowd. "Oh, my godly parent is Poseidon I guess." He then brightened. "But my mom is defiantly awesome too!" The crowd laughed.
After he showed the orientation film, which he said was adapted for us, he dismissed us and told the demigods to show us around. "Dad, I'll be back I'm gonna use the restroom. Feel free to explore the camp." Parker ran off to what I assumed was the Demeter cabin.
I decided to follow Percy. He seemed kind of suspicious. I'vE sAvEd OlYmPuS tWiCe! (BuT wE'rE cOgNaTeS lol) He must be lying or something. I last saw him headed off to the cabins, and he had said Poseidon was his godly parent.
When I looked inside the cabin, I saw him and the blonde girl laying on one of the empty bunks, talking together. "I love you Annabeth" I heard muffled through the window. Then they kissed. An actual passionate kiss. I wasn't really listening to Chiron's lecture, but I did remember some rules he had said.
No two people in a cabin was definitely one of them. He meant it as no parent and child combo, but I was sure it applied to campers too. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, but still, what were they doing together?
-Time skip to dinner-
It was dinner and Parker, the Demeter cabin, and I were walking towards the fire, to sacrifice our food to the gods. We sat back down. The Hermes cabin was crazy, due to there being lots of parents to accompany the already large group of kids.
I looked towards the Poseidon table and saw Annabeth, Percy, and who I assumed to be Sally. Maybe Percy and Annabeth were siblings, but then why had they kissed earlier?
"Who is that?" I asked Parker, pointing to the Poseidon table. "Only the most beloved couple of all time ever!" He responded and the rest of the table nodded in agreement. They were together? Then why were they sitting at the same table? You were supposed to sit at your godly parents table out of respect.
"Why are they sitting together then? Shouldn't Annabeth be sitting at her parents table? And where is her mortal parent?" By now the whole table was listening to our conversation.
"Well Annabeth's dad lives in San Francisco, plus she doesn't have a good relationship with him. And yea, the rules are that you're supposed to sit at your godly parents table but Annabeth is a special case. Those two have literally been to hell together so... ya."
I guess they were kinda cute together.
That was how I met Percabeth.
And scene! This one was kind of iffy. Sorry for not updating yesterday! So long... Words: 708
