It was currently dark outside. The sound of crickets could be heard all around. (Y/N) was sitting down on one of the corpses of the kidnappers. She was just staring down at the ground, thinking in her head.
(Y/N): 'If only... I didn't Fall asleep. If only I stayed up, THEY would've been alive right now..! I would've been able to save them.'
She took a deep breath and exhaled. She couldn't wallow in sadness and think about what could've happened if she saved them. She had to focus on the things ahead and figure out where to go from here on out.
(Y/N): 'Well what happens now? At first Eren was the one that saved me from those kidnappers, but with this...this dark power — I was able to kill this kidnappers. How long am I going to have to wait..or should I just go and find them myself? Explain to Mr. Grisha what happened to my parents. Hmm..'
She was about to stand up and go find Eren and Grisha but it seems like that wasn't needed. She heard footsteps, multiple footsteps and one or them were rapidly approaching at a faster pace. She quickly looked up to see who it was that was approaching. It was Grisha Yeager and Eren Yeager.
Eren: "Father! There she is..!"
They got closer and closer to her but when they saw the bodies and the corpse she was sitting on, they came to a halt. They saw one was missing a head and noticed there was blood on the ground. Eren also noticed there was blood on (Y/N). What also noticed was that her eyes had nothing in them, particularly she had no light in her eyes.
Grisha: "Oh dear.."
The man muttered under his breath. Eren on the other hand slowly got closer to her, making sure he was careful.
Eren: "Did. . . did you do this? To this men?"
She was quiet but she did nod, confirming that indeed murdered these men, well kidnappers. Eren felt sweat trickling down his forehead.
Eren: 'How did she do this.. to these men. She's just a kid, probably the same age as me. She doesn't even look like she feels bad about killing them.'
(Y/N): "They killed my parents.. when I was asleep. When I woke up, my mom and dad were dead. I saw them standing over their corpses. At that moment, I felt anger.. nothing but pure hatred for them. They took away the people I cared about. I wanted to kill them. I wanted them dead.."
Eren: "So.. you avenged your parents. You killed those men and got revenge. I'd say that it's good that you got revenge. Your one tough girl.."
Eren said with a smile. He took off his scarf and got closer to her. He wrapped it around her neck and half of her face.
Eren: "You must be cold.. Here take my scarf, you've been through a lot."
Grisha smiled at his son's actions. (Y/N) grabbed gently and she was smiling underneath, but she remembered Eren's word..
"Ever since we were kids.. (Y/N), I've always hated you."
She frowned and gripped the scarf tightly before relaxing and loosening her grip on the scarf.
(Y/N): "Thank you.. but, now I got nowhere to go.. No mom or dad. I'm all alone."
Eren frowned after hearing that.
Eren: "That's not true. You can come and live with us."
(Y/N): "Really?"
Grisha: "Of course, Eren is right. You can live with us. My wife and I will take good care of you along with Eren."
(Y/N): "I'd. . .like that a lot."
Eren now had a big smile on his face. He was happy to hear that she was going to join the family.
Eren: "Great! Come on and let's go home. I'm sure Mom would love to meet you."
He held a hand out, waiting and wanting her to grab it. She grabbed it and Eren pulled her up. He held her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.
Eren kept that smile and Mikasa removed the scarf, revealing her smile. They walked with each other hand in hand. Grisha followed right behind..

They Made it to the Jaeger's home and entered. Carla was doing chores, though she heard them come in, she looked over to them and greeted them with a kind smile.

Carla: "Welcome home. . what took you so long— oh my God!"
She ran over to (Y/N) and dropped to her knees.
Carla: "Why does this young girl have blood on her?!"
Grisha: "Well.. That's..Not important right now. What's important is that this girl needs a home, and I say we let her stay."
Carla narrowed her eyes at her husband before looking (Y/N) into the eyes.
Carla: "Come on let's get you into a bath, and a fresh pair of clothes."
She said while getting up and guiding (Y/N) somewhere, leaving Grisha and Eren by themselves.
Grisha: "I'm sure those two will get along well."
Eren: "I think so too, dad."
(Y/N) had finally got some foster parents once again. This time, she was going to make sure that Carla lives. Even if it means turning into a Titan.
