Chapter 4

Pigsy shrugged and looked out the window. "I don't think there is anything we can do..." Pigsy said as he sighed. Mei's eyebrows furrowed as she shouted, "No! There must be a way!" Max nodded as she patted Mei on the back. "Don't worry, I am sure MK is not gone." Max said as it hugged Mei. Mei calmed down a little as she took in a deep breath.

"You're right. Wait, isn't it weird that DBK and his family are gone? If DBK and PIF had gone out, they probably wouldn't have taken Redson with them since they need someone to watch over the house." Mei said as she crossed her arms and started to think really hard. Then, her eyes lit up and she looked at her friends. "We need to find Redson. Same group as before. GO!" Mei said as she and Max ran out to find MK. Pigsy and Tang also left after a while.

(With Redson and MK)

They finished buying the clothes and went back to DBK's fortress. "What would you like to do next?" Redson asked as he picked MK up again. MK didn't reply and just yawned as Redson gave a light chuckle. "You are tired aren't you?" Redson said calmly as he slowly put MK on the bed. MK quickly fell asleep as Redson left the room. Then, Redson heard someone banging on his door which made him annoyed again.

"What?!" He shouted as he opened the door to find Mei and Max outside. "I knew you didn't leave! Hand over MK now!" Mei said as he took out her sword and pointed it at Redson. Redson gritted his teeth as he clenched his fist and struck at Mei. Mei flew back and groaned as Max quickly ran up to her and checked if anything was wrong. Redson walked closer and was about to end Mei but heard cries coming from the room.

Redson stopped immediately and ran back inside, slamming the door on Mei's face. Mei and Max decided to make a plan as they left. Mei knew that Redson had MK and would not stop until she got her best friend back.

(With Redson)

Redson quickly ran into the room MK was in and picked him up as he hugged MK. "Sorry, did I wake you up?" Redson said as he hugged the baby MK. Redson then looked at the clock and realized that it was about to be 9:00 p.m. and put baby MK down slowly. As the clock hit 9:00 p.m., MK turned back to his normal form which shocked Redson. "What?! I-... How?!" Redson stuttered as he looked at MK. MK blinked a few times and looked at Redson. "Uhm..." MK wanted to say something but realized that it would probably be very awkward if he did.

Redson's face flushed red as he looked away from MK. "I'm sorry? I mean, I did not plan to make you take me to our home but..." MK's voice slowly trailed off as he spoke. He tried his best to avoid eye contact and sighed. "I will go back." MK said as he walked towards the door. "Wait, it's at night. Maybe just stay for one night. That's alright, right?" Redson mumbled as he scratched his neck. MK smiled warmly as he nodded and hugged Redson. "Thank you!" MK said as Redson turned as red as a tomato.

Redson pushed MK away and shouted, "Don't touch me you peasant!" MK backed away a little and looked at the floor. "Sorry..." MK murmured as he looked at Redson awkwardly. Redson didn't say another word after that and neither did MK. Redson rolled his eyes and led him to the bathroom. "Wash up and go sleep." Redson said as MK nodded and walked into the bathroom. A while later, MK walked out with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Uh, Redson? I don't have any clothes..." MK said awkwardly as Redson noticed him and quickly covered his eyes as he blushed furiously. "Just take mine. It's in the closet in my room." Redson said as he gulped trying to not look at MK. "Ok! Thank you!" MK said as he went off. Redson opened his eyes again and felt his heart racing. 'What was that?... Am I getting butterflies from my enemy?... That can't be right...' Redson thought. Could it be? Is he really falling for his enemy?
