It was a few days after the car accident and Harley had been avoiding being at home. Leaving before her younger sister woke up and only returning late in the evening. She knew that her sister was curious about her and the Cullen family. It was the day of the silence trip for the Juniors and Harley got roped in to chaperone. As Isabella sat in the front seat of her older sister's Impala she fiddled with her ring trying to ask her sister about the Cullen family. Harley could tell that her younger sister was wanting to ask her questions and the fidgeting was starting to bother the young detective.
"What's on your mind," Harley asked her sister.
"What are the Cullens, I know something is different about them. They done even eat at lunch," Isabella said as she looked at her older sister. "And speaking of eating, I hardly see you eat anything. It's like you pick at your food."
Harley glanced at her younger sister before turning back to the road.
"Isabella, if my memory serves school food was always the best food there is," Harley said, "And as for me, ever since I was in an accident in London a year or so ago I haven't been able to eat much without being sick."
By now Harley pulled up into the parking lot of the school and as soon as she parked she was out of the car before Isabella could ask any more questions. As soon Isabella exited the car, Harley locked it before walking over to Mr. Molina where students were handing in their permission slips. As Harley took the slips she noticed her sister watching the Cullens as they arrived. What surprised her is that she saw her two mates arrive with the three younger siblings arrive.
Handing the forms to Mr. Molina, Harley walked over to the family to speak to them. However, from across the lot Harley ignored her younger sister glaring at her.
"Fancy seeing the two of you here," Harley said as she crossed her arms across her chest as she leaned against Edward's car.
"Alice mentioned that you would be chaperoning the field trip and volunteered Jasper and I to also chaperone," Carlisle said.
Harley playfully glared at the pixy vampire with her red eyes concealed behind brown contacts. Carlisle noticed the red tint to her eyes and sighed as he knew she still fed off human blood.
"What's up doc," Harley asked as she saw his face slightly fall.
"Still feeding off human blood, I see," he replied.
"Like I said the other day, I can't digest animal blood. I immediately throw it up and the same for if I mix the two bloods," Harley said. "My old flatmate's brother thinks it's because I have so many gifts."
"It doesn't bother me darling," Jasper said.
Harley smiled at her southern mate before she noticed that Edward was staring at her younger sister. Not liking the fact that Edward seemed to become obsessed with her sister she snapped her fingers in his face, causing him to look at the Homicide Detective.
"Stay away from my sister. She isn't a mate and has no right to know," Harley said, "And everyone is boarding the buses, so I suggest that you get a move on."
When Edward refused to move and went back to staring at Isabella, Harley let out a deadly growl.
"That wasn't a suggestion mister. Get on the bus. NOW!"
Edward along with Alice and Kenneth quickly got on the bus not wanting to piss off the red eyed vampire. Edward knew that because Harley drank human blood, she was stronger than him and she could easily tare him apart.
"Other bus, other bus," Mr. Molina said pointing to the other bus.
As Harley walked in between her mates, they didn't notice Isabella staring at the trio from the first bus. Isabella knew that her sister was different and so were the Cullens, but she was to afraid to ask after she saw the frightened look on Edward's face from her sister reprimanding him.
