An interpretation of a legend (Dragon Ball Legends)

Part 1 - The Saiyan Who Crossed Space-Time - 2

Shallot launches towards Broly, hitting him in the gut.

However, Broly was unfazed, instead using a small fraction of his bottomless reserves of ki to create an unstable ball of energy out of, detonating it point blank in front of both Shallot and him.

"Agh!" He groans in pain, flying backwards, getting caught by Trunks.

"Get your head in the game, Shallot! We have to make it out alive!" Trunks tells the amnesiac, who nods and ultilizes Vegeta's Technique™ once more, this time as a smokescreen.

"Splendid! How I love it when my prey is foolish enough to resist!" Broly chortles, charging up a small blast. "But playtime's over."

Broly throws the expanding blast towards the two.

"!!" Trunks grabs Shallot, leaping up away from the blast, only to get knocked down from behind by a reappearing Broly.

The ground had cracked open, leaving Trunks immobilized and back to base form.

Shallot, being the only one able to fight, looks at Broly in horror.

"Look at him all scared and helpless like that.. I'll put you out of your misery! AHA HA HA HA HA!" Broly charges up another blast, taking his sweet time to soak up Shallot's dispair.

"Hold it right there, Broly!"

Broly was punched square in the face by a vanishing figure, causing him to lose focus on his blast and drop it, making it dissipate.

The figure reappears in front of Shallot and Trunks, revealing himself to be a man with an orange gi and a remarkably messy hairstyle.

"KAKAROT!" Broly calls out.

"In.. the nick of time.. as always, Goku..." Trunks laughs.

"You alright there, Trunks? Can you move?" Goku asks, showing concern for Trunks' state.

"I'll manage.. just lend me some energy." The latter replies, stumbling back up thanks to the energy Goku had lent him.

Transforming back into a Super Saiyan, Trunks gets into a stance, as does Goku.

Goku notices Shallot in the back. "Who's your friend back there?"

"Oh, he's-"

Broly, without warning, throws a blast at them, which expands.

"!"

Goku charges up a Kamehameha wave, and blasts it into the spirit bomb sized ball.

However, Broly hadn't intended for this to be an actual attack, not at all.

He reappears behind the three, blasting them away.

"Enough talk. It's high time I crushed you all in one fell swoop!" Broly exclaims.

He vanishes, leaving the trio confused--

"What the-" Shallot was about to exclaim.

--before reappearing in front of Shallot, obviously wanting to get rid of the weakest link in the chain.

"Look out!" Goku warns as Broly goes for a right hook to Shallot's face.

Shallot vanishes and counterattacks with a gut punch, which does nothing.

Broly turns to the powerless Saiyan, before grinning and smacking him away.

"Ungh..! Now you've done it!" Shallot powers up, charging up another wild cannon.

Goku notices that Broly is charging another attack at the same time. "Watch out!" He shouts, teleporting before Shallot and taking the blast from Broly, and giving Shallot the opportunity to launch the wild cannon.
