I gaped at the sight infront of me, I did have heard a lot about the gridriff city. It was also known as grim city because of its gloomy topography and lethal location.
But what was infront of me was more vicious that I have ever imagined.
A large mass of pendent land could not just dangle in the air, defying gravity like it is nothing. But seems like grim city was not notorious for nothing.
This city was suspended in air, like it weight nothing. There were long strong plait ropes made of interlaced roots of plants that were providing extra support to it. They were quite pliable by the way they sway by the gentle breeze blowing past them.

Bogum and I stood at one of its neighbouring land on which the ropes were attached. Even though, it felt serene and utterly amazing to watch this peice of land dangling in the air, but these feeling turn bile when you gaze at the bottom from where you are standing from,
I quickly dissolves my nauseaus feeling, as I inhaled a deep breath. Continuing it for few more times, I looked at my side to see Bogum repeating the same action.
"Do you think our animals will be able to fly over this? " I asks as he turned to me bewildered, his eyes popping a little momentarily
"Th-They should! I ain't going then with you! " He replies as he restrained himself from stammering, before darting scaredly infront of him
"It is quite at a altitude from the normal land. I don't think they will be able to fly over such a height. It is literally clouds here! " I counters as he widened his eyes a little before petting his animal horse, as he dragged him a little towards the cliff as he tried to convince his animal to fly from it. His expectation quickly vanishes when the horse neighed loudly before gloping off from there, quickly moving away from the cliff as if he was terrified to notice the height we are at present
"I told you Bogum! We have to do something to reach the grim city" I states as he heaved a sigh at his misfortune before turning to me, "What can you do? You cannot fly with this weak state! And about creating a bridge, I have better works to do!"
"I never said that! Anyway we will have to spent our rest of the life in creating that bridge!" I rolled my eyes at his suggestion before pondering over the vary possible ways to get to the grim city
"Can we jump from here and lan.....?" He halts when I quickly turns to him disbeliefly as he stuttered a little, "....I-It was a suggestion, c-calm down bro! "
"Can you suggest something better? It is not helping!" I grimaced while glancing at the dangling land, there is always even a little probability of something becoming reality.
Noway, there couldn't be any remedy of reaching to other side!
I darted around the area to look for something useful, but couldn't. It was despairing and I know I was loosing hope. I couldn't use my wings to fly, heck, I couldn't even unlock them.
My eyes follows the mass of land to the pliable thick ropes that support them, and then like a thunderstorm it stuck to me,
Why not use these ropes to get there? It couldn't be a bad idea, right!0
"I got a idea" I proclaims catching Bogum's attention who motioned me to proceed, his brows raised
"Why don't we use these root ropes to get there? I mean, it isn't a bad i----"
"Have you gone nuts. It isn't bad, but worst idea! I love my sole life and I can not afford to hang it there!" He rejects rudely while turning his back at me, he really is unbelievable sometimes.
Ignoring his warning, I was still adament to try the idea. What could possibly get wrong? I know a lot, but we both were athletical and have already practiced these training a lot where we used to hang on a good height for almost an hour! Well, the height wasn't this great though, only few metres but still,
I have relaince that we can pass it without much of trouble!
I tangled my hands and legs around the thick rope before fully detaching my body from the land as I crawled like a caterpillar around the rope. My throat has already parched from the rising fear, even though I was ample confident on the land
"Jungkook, what the heck? We could have think of any other alternative, why you have to be this stubborn?" Bogum suddenly hollers over from the land as I looked cautiously towards him before arduously giving him a thumbs up
"I am absolutely okay, it is fun here!" I tried my futile attempt to pipe up his interest but only got a eye roll in return
"you think! Let me come too"He responses sarcastically, his voice quivering with derision as he walked up-to cliff
"Wait, let me cross it first!" I demands as he noded before crouching down and gripping on the rope so that to provide more support which I think was unnesseccary,
Nevertheless, I crawled closer to the grim city. As I headed nearer, I heard a screech from the Bogum. As I gingerly turned around, I saw a dark coloured smoke forming in the thin air before a silhoutteie emerged out, this shadow looks familier; a little body and a face carrying a signature smirk and black speckles

I sighs worriedly, now I was really concerned for my life. How could I not be? when I am hanging to nowhere with a evil creature smirking at me across one of the land
I tried increasing my pace so that to cover more distance but the pliable rope would get shaken up making me to return to my original extremely slow pace
He was pushed by the Bogum who recovers from his transfixid state, as the dark king fell on the ground. I took the chance to cover more distance but soon after heard another screech coming from Bogum who was chased by a huge rabbit shaped bug, probably called by the little evil.
As my eyes locks into him, he smirks more widely before fumbling with his pocket, as he bring out something from it
My eyes widened as my stomach twisted into knots, this couldn't be a magic scissor!
I gulps a little when he squats down languidly while maintaining the eye contact through the black specks, as if he was mocking me to reach here before he would accomplish his vivid task
He brought the scissor near the rope before giving a little flick on it, and next thing I know was that I was gripping tightly on the rope which got blown away to other side, the grim city side, now hanging from there.
