I was pinned to the ground by three dragons, inside a cave. It wouldn't be a problem if it was only one, but i could never take on three at once. One of them opened it's mouth in front of my face and i saw a flame rising up.
(Y/N)'s mind: Is this how it all ends? Getting burned to a crisp by a filthy dragon?
A tear rolled down my cheek.
(Y/N): Forgive me, little brother... I failed...
I closed my eyes and prepared for the inevitable.
???: Enough!
A female voice signaled for the dragons to stop. They got off of me and bowed to her. She came to me.

Girl: Need a hand?
I blinked a few times. I've never seen anything like her before. I took her hand and stood up.
(Y/N): Uhh... thanks... Who- erm... What are you?
She sighed. I don't think she liked that question. It sounded like she's already been asked this a thousand times.
Girl: I'm half dragon and half human.
(Y/N): W-What? How's that even possible?
Girl: I don't even know. You can ask my father though.
(Y/N): Your father?
Girl: Yeah! Me, him, and aabout a dozen others are the last remaining people of our race.
(Y/N): Oh... I guess that explains why i've never seen anything like you before. Only guys like these *points at the dragons behind him*.
Girl: They're like guard dogs. Come with me, we can talk more in the village.
She began walking.
(Y/N): The village?
I followed her. The dragons went next to each other and kept observing the entrance to the cave.
(Y/N): By the way, what's your name?
Hydra: Hydra.
Small timeskip
We reached a small village hidden in a huge opening in teh cave. I could see more people like her. I was amazed by how they were able to live in isolation for so long. A boy stopped her. He looked about her age.
Boy: Hey, Hyds. Who's the new guy?
Hydra: This is... umm... I didn't catch your name.
