Chapter 3: shock

"Laura I presume" the teacher spoke without giving me chance to talk

"I'm Mr homes your science teacher if you can't tell,you can sit next to Lydia for today,josh move to the front" he commanded the lad who face went from happy straight to evils directed at me.
I went and sat next to Lydia and then tried to slyly peak around for him,for Luke, and to my surprise I caught him in cold eyes,with his jaw dropped,looking at me.I quickly turned my head back to lidia who was on my left avoid Luke who was sat right in the back corner.

"You know him don't you" Lydia smirked
"I grew up with him he was my next door neighbour,but he left right after my 16th birthday" I said with an awkward look plastered on my face.
"Well I herd he's mom was a crack head and he lives with his dad and little brother"
"George" I interrupt her

When Luke lived next to me he was with his mom,they seemed fine I juSt woke up one morning and they were gone.Me and Luke was best friends even though I was 16 and he was 15,Luke was younger but only by a few months. We had this tree house in his back garden and we always used to climb up there and just mess around for hours in our own imaginary world.

It was just us.Laura and Luke against the world.

That tree house was my child hood its where I had
my first kiss aged 14,of course that wasn't with Luke it was with Peter Dawson.The most popular lad in the school,that's the only time I have kissed a boy,when I told Luke he fell out with me for weeks he said "that was our tree house and now you've ruined it".he wouldn't speak to me but he couldn't avoid me for much longer so we talked but it wasn't quite the same,Luke had changed,eventually he stopped talking to me and became popular while I faded to the back.

"Sooooo was there a thing between you" Lydia laughed
"Noooo God no,Luke never" I laughed

I peered back over at him,he had his head down doing his work.My god he had got so hot! He had blond ruffled hair up in a quiff,it looked like some one had messed it up but he still looked good,his deep ocean blue eyes were just perfect you could get lost in them any day.
And what's that? My god he got his lip pierced.The ugly little kid I once knew had grew And may I day puberty had done him well!

"Honestly if I was you I'd stay away from him!"Lydia laughed noticing I was looking over at him
"Why" I questioned with a puzzled look on my face

"He's the school fuckboy" she said plainly like nothing was bad about it
"He has slept with like half our year,every girl wants him,but he's never once had a girlfriend accept this one rumour that went round about this girl called Stacy she a blond bimbo bitch,and personally my worst enemy"

My mouth was wide open.i knew Luke was popular when we was in school together but I never expected that at all.

*bell*
"Come one its second period then lunch* Lydia whistled
And of course I followed

Period 2 was maths,I'm really good at maths it flew by to my surprise Lydia was good too,in science all she did was doodle all over her book.
Now it's lunch time
Of course Lydia being Lydia it came as no surprise to find out she smoked,me of course? Well I'd never tried it I've always been quiets d a goody two shoes and well hidden.

Lydia handed me the lit cigarette.
"Tryyyy it,it won't kill you,at least not yet" she laughed
Was this peer pressure?
Ow what the hell who gives a dam I hate this place and I've never adventured out my own little cave.
I put the cigarette to my plum pink lips and inhaled the smoke.
"Are you sure you've never smoked?" Lydia questioned
"Usually people can never take it down first time"
I let the smoke out and to my surprise I liked it,it relaxed me.
Lydia offered me one but I said no so she just saved me some on hers.Somkers call it "two's" I laughed I felt so naughty so rebellious this wasn't like me.

We was hidden at the back of the school because your not allowed to smoke on school sight.

Once dinner was over we headed to our next class and the day just seemed to drift away I saw Luke in a few of my classes but I listened to Lydia and didn't try to talk to him after all,he left without saying good bye I was meant to be his best friends???
Like what kind of best friend dose that???
The day quickly went and befor I knew it, it was time to go home.i rushed to the boys school and picked them up and then walked home.

As soon as we got in the Boys ran to there room and I picked up the house phone and ordered pizza there was no way I was cooking after the day I've had!
