Terror filled Liz's eyes as I thought of a plan. I found a closet in the hallways and pushed her in.

"I'll come get you. If I'm not back in five minuets, get out through the window and run home." I whispered.

She grabbed my hand and said, "But what if you get hurt?"

"I won't. I'll see you soon." I kissed her hand and shut the closet door. I heard it click, meaning it had locked. I hid around a corner, listening to the person who had gotten home. They messed around in the kitchen and then walked up the stairs. I went to move out of the way, but the floor board squeaked.

"Hey! What are you doing in here?" He yelled. "I'm going to call-" My fist connected with his temple before he could finish his sentence. He rubbed his head and I jumped on his back, taking him to the ground.

"Get off of me, punk!" He said, elbowing my ribs. He knocked all of the wind from my lungs, causing me to stumble to the ground.

"Ah." I gagged. I tried to get air into my lungs, but the guy kicked me in my side. His fist cracked my jaw, and I spit out blood. He picked me up by my shirt, which ripped when he did and kneed me in the stomach.

He was about to hit me one more time, but then something happened. He just froze. His face went pale and his whole body went limp, falling to the floor. Liz stood behind him, a small tube in her hand.

"What'd, you do?" I asked, clutching my side. She walked over and knelt down, showing me the small tube.

"Blow dart. Nothing to kill him, but knock him out." Her soft hand touched my jawline, and I flinched. "Sorry."

I said, "It's okay. His ring cut my jaw and it hurts like hell."

"I'll have to check you out at home." She stood and helped me up. My side and jaw both throbbed. "What happens when he wakes up?" Liz asked.

"Here," I pulled out a pill bottle from my jacket pocket. I placed one of the white tablets in her hand. "This will make him forget everything from the past two hours. Put it under his tongue."

Liz kneeled down and placed the pill under his tongue. She wrapped her arm around my waist and let me lean on her for support. "I'll drive home." She stated. She placed me in the passenger seat and drove home. It started to heavily rain when she pulled up to her house. We walked in, getting soaked in the rain.

"Sit in the kitchen, I'm gonna get the first aid kit." She brushed her hair from her face as I made my way to her kitchen table. I painfully sat down and waited for Liz. She came back in, still in her body suit. She pulled the chair across from me out and propped my legs in it. She opened up the first aid kit.

"Here," She took off my jacket and laid it on the table. She tugged at my shirt and lifted it over my head. Her beautiful eyes roamed my body, but she shook it off. I had cuts and bruises on my chest and stomach too.

"This is going to sting." She said, soaking a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol. She dabbed at my stomach and chest first.

I hissed, "Shit, that hurts like hell."

"Sorry." She said. Liz was struggling to get one side of my face, so I gripped her waist and let her sit on my lap. She blushed a little. "Thanks."

"I just saw that you were having a hard time." She got another cotton ball and dabbed at my jaw and face.

"Do you want bandages?" She asked me.

I replied, "I'll be okay."

"Well," Liz leaned over and grabbed a tube of Neosporin. "I'm going to put this on your cuts so they don't get infected." She delicately applied the ointment to my open cuts. Liz put everything back into the first aid kit and climbed off of my lap. She went to put the box away and sat back down when she came back.

"Thank you, Dr. Liz." I smiled. She put her hands on my shoulder and I set mine on her perfect waist. She leaned down and kissed me, soft and slowly.

"Try not to get yourself killed anymore." She giggled. I looked at her beautiful face: her full, pink lips, smooth skin, stunning eyes and breath taking features.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked.

"Because you're gorgeous." I simply replied. I pulled her closer to me and pressed my lips to hers. She kissed back immediately. Liz rested her soft hand on my cheek while the other went behind my neck.

We pulled apart for air. We just sat there, looking into each other's eyes. "Ross?" I heard her say.

"Yes?"

Liz took a deep breath and smiled. "You're the best thing that has ever happened to me. I wouldn't trade meeting you and being with you for anything. Ross, I love you."

"Can I tell you something?" I said. She nodded. "The day that I saved you, I saw you before then. I saw you walk out of the restaurant and I was stunned. I was going to go up to you, but I didn't want to scare you. I let you go. But then I heard you scream for help. I knew I had to do something. Ever since that day, I've been in love with you ever since. You make me so happy and you can my day so much better but just being around. I love you too, Liz."
