Side effects - Felix

WARNING: Epilepsy + seizures.

It was unusual for the boys to be offered days off, especially so out of the blue. They were always so busy producing, practising or preparing for comebacks that they never really had time for breaks. Therefore you can imagine their surprise when they were offered a five day break by JYP.

The boys decided that they would use these next couple of days to relax and take a well needed rest. It was perfect timing really, some members hadn't been feeling well recently so it was for the best that they had a little time off to recharge and recover. 

Jisung and Changbin had been feeling under the weather for quite some time now, they had been nauseous and were experiencing some fatigue throughout the day. Naturally, the members were worried. At first they thought it could be food poisoning but later realised that their symptoms weren't adding up. It seemed that the boys had most probably caught some kind of sickness bug. In the mix of nursing the boys back to health, they also had to make sure they were kept away from Felix. 

It was important that any members exposed to illnesses were kept away from the young Aussie, limiting his chances of catching it. Having a bug alongside epilepsy was never a good mix, seizures become more regular when the body is focusing on fighting off an illness and this could be dangerous for the boy so his members try to prevent it as much as they possibly can.

"Good morning lixie" Hyunjin said as the younger made his way into the kitchen, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. 

It was the first morning of their break and the boys were happy to be able to get some decent sleep and a nice relaxing lay-in. It was only Chan and Hyunjin in the kitchen when Felix stumbled in. Minho, who was normally up at the crack of dawn, was still sleeping in the room with the sick members having had to help jisung all night. The poor boy was feeling very poorly throughout the night and barely got any sleep until Minho managed to soothe him into a somewhat sleeping state. 

"Morning" Felix mumbled squinting at the older.

"Hyunjin and I are going to go to the store in a little bit, are you coming or staying home?" Chan asked, ruffling the Aussies hair making his soft blond strands flop over his eyes. 

"Yeah im coming" Felix mumbled, still slow with sleep.

"Here's your medicine lixie" Hyunjin said, handing over the small orange pills and a cup of juice for the younger one.

"Thanks hyung" he said as he took his meds under the watchful eye of chan. 

Felix wasn't used to taking so many pills, he had been put on some new medication by his doctor a week ago because he was experiencing more absence seizures then he usually would. His new medicine was a little stronger and consisted of four orange pills every morning and two green ones every night, usually he would only take two in the morning and one at night. Because of the new medicine, the boys were paying extra attention to Felix, observing him for the next few weeks to make sure there are no side effects. 

After taking his medication and eating some breakfast, Felix had a shower before joining hyunjin and chan ready to go to the store. 

"What do we need from the store?" He asked climbing into the passenger seat of the car.

"We were thinking about having a movie night tonight, jisung and Changbin still aren't feeling well so I was thinking we could get some snacks." Chan replied, starting the car and rolling out the drive. 

Felix nodded in reply, listening to the soft clicking of the car indicator as they joined the main road on their way to get what they needed. Felix was concerned about his older members, not being able to see them just added to his anxiety however he knew the reason why he needed to keep his distance. If he got sick and had an epilepsy flare up, that wouldn't be fun for him or his members.
