[ I really hope you like this fic, let me know it there's anything i could change to make it better :) ]Stray kids were almost at the end of their five star comeback, their new music was seeing immense success and it made the boys so happy. They were over the moon that their shared love for music was inspiring to others all over the world and they could share their passion with their stays. The boys also just felt so lucky to be able to do what they do together and build tighter bonds with each other as the years went by.
In all honesty, the boys weren't sure whether this comeback would be a success or not. They were very proud of the songs they had produced for it and they did their best to make them good. 3racha put their heart and souls into each lyric and thought hard about which member should sing which part before designating specific lines to each. However, it was always very unpredictable. They could never be too sure just how their fans would react to their new music. They could only hope for good feedback, therefore seeing the positive reaction and kind words really did make them happy and more confident in their producing abilities.
Their leader, Chan, couldn't have been more proud of the boys. He had made the team from scratch so seeing their success meant that his work had really paid off. Every single one of them had worked their asses off to make this comeback a success and it seemed as if their hard work and efforts were really showing. It isn't rocket science to know that in order for them to make their performances and comebacks work, they all needed to focus and put in the best side of themselves. This was so exhausting for them so seeing that stays were loving their music and it was a joy to see.
...
The boys were currently backstage, it was quite a dull looking room but that was typical for a backstage dressing room. There didn't tend to be anything special or posh, of course it depended on the venue they were performing at and its quality but often a messy dressing room was typical. The walls were painted with an off white, it gave quite a calming scene if it wasn't for the black scrapes and marks that littered those walls, presumably from all the furniture being moved about, chipping the paint. It wasn't a very big room but the eight of them fit just about fine so it wasn't an issue.
The boys were excited to be performing for their fans again, especially since they had been getting such good energy from their stays lately. The venue was really cool as well, it just added to the excitement. The stage was an open roof which did prove to be a slight issue with the heavy rain however the boys aren't one to cancel due to wether.
Nervous butterflies were setting in their stomachs as reality sunk in. No matter how many times the boys performed to huge crowds, it never got any easier for them. Don't be fooled, they loved what they did and performing was probably their favourite part, however, it was still a nerve racking thing to do no matter how many times they had already done it.
The boys often found that Felix got the most nervous. It's safe to say he was a perfectionist. When things didn't go as planned, Felix would blame himself, especially when it was something that involved him. The blond would beat himself up about the smallest of things for days on end, the members would have to eventually talk some sense into the boy.
For someone so kind, he really was mean to himself. Felix had always had a habit of putting others before himself. On the outside, it looked like it was a good thing. It showed that the boy was well mannered and empathetic but in reality, it wasn't so good. The boys had always encouraged Felix to be kinder to himself however it was proving to be a hard task.
Felix was sitting on the couch in the fitting room, he had his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands. The boy was oddly nervous for some reason, even he himself couldn't pinpoint the reason for all these nerves. This wasn't just the pre-performance jitters, no, felix felt as if he couldn't breath he was so nervous. Something just felt off and he wasn't exactly sure what it was, but it was eating him alive.
