Wow, I'm sorry, it's been a while! :)Comebacks were always exciting, the boys loved creating new music for others to listen to. They haven't had a comeback for a while and the fans seemed to be getting rather impatient as time went by. The boys were so fortunate to be in the position they were, making a difference to people's lives simply by doing what they loved, making music.
It was safe to say this comeback was particularly exciting for the boys. They all felt as if they had found their style this time round. From the precise making of catchy lyrics to the carefully created beats, each one of them had worked so hard in making it a success.
Of course with comebacks came preparations, dance practices, vocal lessons, costume fittings and photo shoots. The process wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, it was endless sleepless nights, sore muscles from vigorous dance moves and scratchy voices. It was exhaustion and burnouts, tears and stress.
...
Chan couldn't be more proud of his members. Together, they always managed to push through the dark times in order to reach the light. He sat in the makeup chair, reminiscing on the past few months as he let the makeup artist do as she pleased.
Chan was always a very deep thinker. In some aspects, it was a good trait to have, in others, it wasn't so good. Chan often found his overthinking to be the cause for his frequent spiral in emotions, of course he never spoke about his struggles.
Today was their first scheduled photo shoot in preparation for their new comeback, it was a nice break from all the vocal lessons and dance practices. Photo shoots were always very relaxed, it was a time where the members were able to have fun and muck about with one another.
"Ugh, Nari, my lips are dry!" Hyunjin exclaimed as he leaned over beside Chan to look closely in the mirror.
"Well, stop biting your lips then" the makeup artist scolded the younger, "here, put some of this on darling" Nari handed him a small container of lip balm.
"Oh goodness, i think you just saved my life" he sighed, taking the lip balm and appling a small coat to his plump lips.
Chan shook his head with a chuckle, hyunjin had always been overly dramatic. It was a trait that many would often find frustrating however to the members, staff and fans, it was hilarious. He was such a drama queen but in the most positive way, Hyunjin was good at reading people so he knew when to tone it down.
"Is this good?" He asked the makeup artist, Nari, smacking his lips together loudly as he turned to look at both her and chan.
"Very good hyunjinnie" she giggled, shaking her head as the boy ran off.
Turning back to chan, Nari began gently brushing a light layer of powder over his features. He needed to look flawless for this shoot.
"What am I going to do with them, hey?" Chan muttered to her.
"Don't ask me, I'm only here for the makeup" she chuckled, tapping her brush against the rim of her palette.
"I feel you" chan sighed.
Nari looked at him with a smile. Chan was very fond of her, she was much older then most of the staff and she always had great advice. Nari was probably the closest thing he had to a mother figure within the company, she always took care of him and the members.
There weren't many staff members chan trusted with his members, he was very protective and took his title as the leader very seriously. however, Nari was certainly one he could trust. It was her kind nature and sensitivity that stood out to the leader the most.
