Chapter 1

~*~Y/n pov~*~
"Y/n!!!! Wake the fuck up nowwwww!!!!" I jolt awake. It was my mom coming to beat me. She hit me with the belt once, twice, 10 times. At least she didn't hit me with a pan again.. after she left I got dressed. I threw on a quick outfit (top picture) and then my hair in a messy bun.

I looked in the mirror, I was 4'10" with long brown hair and deep green eyes. I didn't put on make up because I found it to be a waste of time, but I put on a silver heart necklace that my sister gave me before she died and ran out the door, avoiding a beer bottle my mom threw at me. I ran to the bus stop barely catching the bus.

I got on the bus and everyone was staring at me. I tucked my hair behind my ear and walked towards the back of the bus.

I sat down in an empty seat and put on my headphones. I close my eyes and let my mind drift away.

Then I feel someone slam into my side, pushing me up against the window. It was my best friend, Tobi! "Hey babe!" They say. " Tobiii, how many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that" I laugh. "But baby, I thought we were in love " they dramatically slump against me with the back of their hand on their forehead.

I laugh at them and they lagged too. "So, you got a date for homecoming yet?" They wiggle their eyebrows. I giggle "no. Not yet" I sigh. Their eyes seem to light up a bit at this. "Hey, y/n-" they get cut of by the bus driver telling us to get of the bus.p

We get off the bus and get pushed into the crowd of teenager's. Me and Tobi walk towards our lockers that were right next to each other.

"S-so what we're you gonna tell me on the bus Tobi" I ask them. "Hm? Oh, it was nothing" they wave their hand dismissively.

"Well we'll well!" I jolt and turn around. There was Jessica, the head cheerleader and my bully. She's standing with Heather and Veronica, her two best friends and co-captain's. "H-h-h-h-h-h-h-hi J-j-j-Jessica" I say nervously. "H-hey loser, s-still stuttering" Veronica and Heather cackle at the comment and Jessica smiles proudly.

"Why don't you shut the fuck up Jessica!!" Tobi yells. People start to stop and stare. I star to feel shy and sink into myself.

"Oh! The fag want to defend her girlfriend?? HAHAHA, what are you gonna do? Hit me?" The crowd starts to stir with anticipation. I feel tears well up in my eyes. "T-t-t-tobi, l-l-lets just g-g-go" I grab their arm and try to pull them away.

They yanked their arm away. "You're just mad because you have a crush on y/n don't you?!" Jessica looks taken aback "ugh, no!! I'm not one you fags!!!"

I was to overwhelmed with what was happening. Tears started to stream down my face. I was so upset and shouted "WHY WONT YOU BOTH JUST SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!" I turned and flew down the hallway. The crowd made a hole when they saw me running. "y/n wait!!" Tobi shouted after me.

I didn't look back, but kept running and running till I reached the roof.

'Nobody understands me, they just don't listen.
Then I remembered a song my sister used to sing me before she died.

I took a deep breath, and started to sing

(She sings this song)

I start to cry while I sing, remembering my sister.

When I finished I heard claps from down below. People were cheering!

I smiled as I looked down at the crowd that had formed.

Then a deep voice came from behind me "you have a beautiful voice" I flinched and swung around.

There was my hot world history teacher, Mr. Moon, but he lets me call him Jaxon since he's dating my brother "h-h-h-hey Jaxon" I said shyly and tucked my hair behind my ear.

He had slicked back jet black hair and dark red eyes, he was 6'5" with really defined muscles. He tilted his head and raised an eyebrow. "Why are on the roof, all by yourself?"

I looked away "w-well, I j-j-just wanted T-t-to b-be alone" I blushed and looked away

He walked towards me. "Well, I can sit with you for a bit and you can let me know what's on your mind" he smirked, and raised a hand to brush some hair out my face.

I flinched.

His eyes seemed to darken when I did but his face quickly softened. He smiled and pulled me into a hug "you poor thing. You must have gone through a lot haven't you" his voice was sweet and soft and i started to cry at his caring gesture.

I started to tell him about my mom and sister, and about the bullying I was going through. He just hugged me and listened. After I was done rambling he pulled away slowly. "Do you feel better sweetie?" He asked

I nodded and looked away blushing, my heart felt like it was going 2000 miles per hour. 'Why do I feel like this' he pats me on the head and smiles down at me. "Let's got you to class little one" he smiles as he puts his hand on my lower back and leads me in site to his class room.

He sat me down at his desk and put his suit coat over my shoulders. "How are you feeling?" He asked me, tucking a stand of my hair behind my ear. "I-I-I-I feel b-better" I say. He holds his hand on my cheek and look in to my eyes.

I can feel my stomach doing backflips as I looked back at him. He started to lean in and I felt my heart flutter. But just before we could kiss, his phone started to ring. He cleared his throat and looked away. He looked at his phone. "I have to take this"

He stood up and walked out the room. I still felt a ghost of his touch on my face as I sat there feeling hot.

"I'll see you tomorrow y/n" he said and winked at me. I left the school and went home. When I got home my mom was passed out drunk on the floor so made myself a sandwich and went upstairs.

I ate and layer down in my bed, letting my long brown hair fan out around me. As I closed my eyes to go to sleep, I couldn't stop thinking about Mr. Moon. My face went hot and for the first time in years I went to bed with a smile.
