These first few weeks in the tower have been nice, especially with Happy driving me to and from college. I've gotten used to the team coming and going from the tower when they get called for emergencies and missions. I decided to get out of my room and head down to the training rooms. I use my magic to change from my jeans and T-shirt into a sports bra and some gym shorts. I still haven't told anyone about my powers. I'm scared they will reject me once they find out I'm not normal.
I walk into the training room and practice my powers. I'm in there for a few hours as I'm training. I hear an unfamiliar voice from the door. " When did they get someone with your powers?" I turn around as I toss a dagger at the stranger. The stranger catches the dagger and drops it to the floor. "Well, that's one way to greet a god." I take a good look at the man taking in his raven black hair and some kind of green tunick looking outfit and blue eyes and his skinny tall features. I summon another dagger and throw it at the man. "Who the fuck are you! And what the fuck are you doing in the tower!" The man dodges the dagger as he teleports right in front of me. "Now that is very rude on how to greet a prince of Asgard." He grabs my hand as I summon another dagger. "Ah, ah, ah. Nope, drop that little miss." I growl as I stare at the man. "I'll drop it when you tell me who you are and, and why you are here!"
The man laughs as he bows. "I am Loki God Of Mischief and Prince Of Asgard." Loki bows as he kisses my hand that holds the dagger. "Ok, Loki. Why are you here in the tower?" "I'm here with my brother Thor. My father has punished me to make amends on here on Midgard." I stand there looking at Loki as I yank my hand out of his grip. "Well then, go bother your brother. Why did you even come down here?" Loki laughs as I ask him the question. "Awww . Little witch. I felt your powers and wanted to investigate." "You felt my powers? How does that even work?" I ask Loki with a confused expression on my face.
Loki laughs. "Little witch, I have the ability to feel others magic around me that isn't mine. And well, your magic is very strong for a mear mortal." "Strong how and you have magic just like me. Can you teach me how to control mine better?" Loki smiles as he walks closer to me. "I can train you little witch, but you have to be honest with me about how often you've used your magic and at what age your magic appeared." I nod at Loki. "Seems easy enough. My magic appeared when I was at the age of six, and I only use it in secret. No one knows about my powers except you." Loki grins. "So the team has no idea you have magic." "Yes, and I like to keep it that way. They think I'm just a normal human." Loki looked at me confused. "You don't want to be a hero like them and use your powers for good little witch?" I laugh. "No, thank you. I prefer to stay out of the spotlight and sick to the shadows. Plus, I barely have control over my magic, so I don't want to hurt anyone."
"Really, how do you not have control?" Loki asks me as he looks at me curiously. "When I get too emotional, my magic gets out of control. Also, I don't really know what extent my magic has either." Loki chuckles as he looks me up and down." Well, I guess while I train you in magic, we can learn the extent of your magic. Also, I forgot to ask what is your name?" I blush as I realize I forgot to tell Loki my name. "It's Y/N Stark." Loki smiles. "Y/N Stark. So your Stark's daughter, huh curious."
"I'm Stark's adopted daughter, Loki." I quickly interject. "Adopted daughter?" I laugh at Loki's question. "Yes, I'm an orphan, and I grew up in the foster care system. Tony adopted me a few weeks ago." Loki's eyes grow wide as he understands what I'm saying. "Well, I we have one thing in common Y/N. We are both adopted." I smile. "So Thor isn't your real brother. That would explain completely different personalities." Loki nods. "My brother is a complete buffoon and he is too hyper for my taste." I laugh, which surprises Loki. "Yes, that I can agree on. Thor is too much like a golden retriever." Loki laughs. "Well, I'm going to go back up to my room and get washed up. It was nice meeting you, Loki." I say as I bow, and I walk out of the training room, leaving Loki speechless.
I walk up to my room, taking the back way as I play around with my magic in my hand. The magic shimmers a sliver white as I make balls of light dance from one hand to another. I walk into my room and lock the door as I get undressed and walk to my bathroom to take a shower. As I stepped out of the shower, I heard a knock at my bedroom door. I use my magic to put on a midlength dress as I open the bedroom door and see Tony standing there. "Hey, kiddo. Mind coming down to the main room, we have a few people for you to meet." I nod at Tony. "Sure, dad, just give me a few minutes to brush my hair, and I'll be down there." Tony nods as he walks away. I use my magic to dry my hair and style it as I walk down to the main room.
