Tikki gasped, "The Neckless-It was of one of my previous owner. One of the strongest wielder after you, but the thing is h-her flow of magic was not smooth."
"What do you mean by that?" Damian asked, Sounding concern.
"She was not able to wield her powers correctly. Sometimes it would be weak and dim but the other times-it would bust out with such sheer force, that it could alone wipe out an entire city. So, after a lot of work, the guardian of the miraculous had made that pendant for her, to help her control the flow of power"
"But Mari is more than capable of wielding her powers." Chloe stated.
"Unless..." Luka continued with a look of realization on his face "Kagami, Do you still have the piece of paper we found inside the river?" He got a weird look from Jason but he couldn't care less -The wheels in his head spinning.
"Yeah!" Kagami said, till then Everyone else caught on to the idea. "Everyone remove the piece of paper you have received" Damian and Chloe rushed to fish the piece of paper out of their pocket. Marinette gave a pointed look to Jason and Dick.
"I don't think we might have gotten the paper-" Jason started only to be cut off by Dick
"Have it right here" He said, Now carefully removing the almost ruined piece of paper which was stuck on his keen. After a bit of rearrangement, it read out a note:
Dear Mini-Me,
Things are getting out of hand ever since _______ Has gotten__ hand on the Ancient Book of Magic. These Artifacts you have right now are rare - it took some time for me and the others to retrieve them and They will be needed in 3 years' time. make sure your_______ Wears them. After the ______attack, I have grown weak but we are still not able to find a way to make someone else the _________ without me losing my ____.

They had read the letter several times, but most of the dashes still did not make sense. "I don't think I can deal with this shit right now" Marinette said and Left
"Let her be for now" Luka said to Damian who look like he wanted to object but sat down quietly anyway. The Atmosphere was tense.
"How about this? Let's rest for a while and head back to the manor, There I and Luka can try to fill up some of the blanks" Nathaniel said and everybody agreed without a fight.
Marinette's P.O.V.
I headed straight to the nearest pub. After all that shit I need a well-deserved break. "Shots" was all I said and the bartender started to make me my drink. I did not know how many glasses I had till I stood up and was not able to control myself "Fuck the world" I said under my breath as I paid. I snuck into a deserted alleyway transformed and started to make my way back to the manor.
Apparently even after being ladybug -Luck has never Been on my side,Like Right now, as I entered the room Damian stood before me in an instance "Where have you been Angel?" God damn his deep voice, "Just out"
"Did you drink?" He asked, moving closer
"N-NO!"
"Really?" I shook my head as a yes but only seconds later I felt his mouth on mine
"It seems like you are lying in my face Angel"
"I am sorry" He seemed to soften a little and Suddenly he picked me up -like I weighed nothing- and bought me back to our bed. Then he rushed through the house to bring back a bowl of chips, tissue, comfy clothes to change into [Which were his], and last but not least Hangover medicine. "Eat up and go to sleep." I decided to follow his order this time.
