(According to Google, trick-or-treating is not as common in Japan as it is in *most* parts of the US, but I already began writing this before even doing the tiniest bit of research so 🙁🙁)

• As we know, Satou loves his sweets, so he likely takes Halloween fairly seriously- mainly the trick-or-treating aspect of it
• Or, at the very least, when he was younger. Maybe in his teenage years, he'd rather buy a big bag of candy for himself while he watches movies or something
• But you're never too old to trick-or-treat
• Yokoo is mainly there to have fun, enjoy time with friends, and maybe get some candy
• He'd likely give a good portion of it to Satou once they're done
• Horror movie marathons are a must-have, however after a certain amount it's either too corny or too gory for them so they switch to something less intense (+unnecessary sex scenes boo tomato boo 👎👎)
• Matching/Corresponding facial expressions on jack-o'-lanterns

• Interesting critter
• Kinda insists it's for children and that he's too old for it
• Couldn't catch him dead in a cheesy Halloween costume
• He'd much rather find ways to enjoy the decent weather after suffering through summer, so walks, small hikes, casual dates to wander around the city are preferred
• If he absolutely has to participate in Halloween, he'd rather hand out candy to the kids. I just think he'd like to see the fun costumes and be able to put a smile on some kid's face
• Actually good/scary/classic Halloween movies, has some set of "rules" for movies (ie no slashers, no pornos disguised as horror movies, etc...)
• "Erm, actually, [Name], this specific film is known to be particularly gory and uninteresting, therefore we should not watch it 🤓☝️"
• Might cook, might order in. Either way, you're eating good while watching scary movies
• If you really wanted to go trick-or-treating, he'd just accompany you. No costume. No jack-o'-lantern candy basket. Just plain Akane waiting for you to tire yourself out

• Interesting critter #2
• I think that, while he's pretty mature and "grown" or whatever, he never really got to have a "normal" childhood like most kids, meaning he never really had fun. He'd probably enjoy the dressing up aspect and just being able to let loose and have fun
• That being said, I think he'd wanna do everything
• Halloween house parties, haunted houses, school events, corn maze, etc...
• Everything he either never got to do or hardly ever did amazes him and seems way too fun to miss out on, so he's determined to drag you along with him as he finds a way to participate in all of the activities
• He'd likely be less scared of actors in the haunted house or the little kids in dino costumes childishly roaring at him on the street, considering he's an exorcist that deals with supernaturals often
• He'd (very obliviously) walk right up to every doorstep of every house/apartment in the neighborhood and ask for candy
• Gets a few weird looks and whispers, but he's having fun so that's all that matters
• Lots of photos for memories
• Probably hangs them in his room, desk area more specifically, so he can look back on it, esp. If he's going through a rough patch in life
• Somehow remains energetic and upbeat throughout the entire day until he gets back home
• By the end of the night, he's too tired to wash off his face paint or change out of his costume, so he trudges home with you (trying to walk you home, doing an okay job) before finding your room and flopping right into bed
• You can sleep on the floor idk

Notes:
• Because I know damn well I'm not gonna update for another like, 3 months, here's an early Halloween thing
• Less reader insert focused since I forgor
• Although I love TBHK (the after school anime adaption looks wonderful!) I'm kinda losing interest? Sorta in writing as a whole but I do want to keep this book somewhat alive
• I'm more focused on TADC and ATSV right now, but any works for either of those would likely be platonic since I kinda don't like writing/reading romantic stuff 😭
