Once we were done with dinner, I started grabbing my keys to head out, but before I left, my cousin ran over to talk to me.
"Hey CJ, everything okay? You seemed a little out of it at dinner."
"Yeah, everything's alright."
"You sure?" She asked again.
"Look, I went to the library, and met this really cute girl, but she ran off before I could ask her anything. So I'm a little mad at myself for not saying anything."
"Why'd she run off?"
"I'm not sure actually, she was reaching for a book. I got it for her, she said thank you, then ran off."
"Did she stutter at all? Or maybe even blush?"
"She did a bit of both when she thanked me."
"And she ran off?! Dude, come on CJ."
"What?"
"Are you really that socially unaware?"
"Did I miss something??"
"*sigh*. Just know, next time you see her, go up to her, you won't regret it."
"If you say so."
And so I said my goodbyes and drove home. Once home, I decided to go back to the library in the morning to see if I could find that girl again, I had to.
