Soap found you in the corridors a few minutes after you stormed out. You had crossed in front of a security camera, which Ghost and Soap watched on the feeds back in the meeting room. You had stopped in front of a vending machine and were contemplating pressing a few buttons on the vending machine.

Soap got your attention with a tap on your shoulder. "Hey, newbie, what are you doing?" You slapped his hand away and sighed clearly annoyed by his presence. "Don't touch me!"You hissed at him and turned your head around to look at Soap, You wrinkled up your nose. When you said that you wouldn't treat them like family, you meant it.

You snarled at him and shook your head, you crouched and picked up the soda can from the vending machine, you stood up again and looked at Soap one last time before walking away. Soap was pissed, not by the way you acted.

"Jesus Christ, what the hell is wrong with you? You're part of a task force that works to combat some of the worst people on earth and you act like some spoiled little brat?"

Soap had a look of pure disappointment, he was pissed off. Ghost joined him, the cigarette still in his mask.

"Soap, calm down." He says as he tries to defuse the situation.

"You're acting like a child." Soap ignored Ghost. You didn't say anything, what were you supposed to say anyway, "I'm so sorry I acted this way", there was no way in hell you were going to apologize, they started this fucking argument. You clenched your fist and looked down at the ground, clearly unhappy.

Soap looked at the floor as well in disbelief, he still had a disappointed expression on his face. Ghost took a step closer to you, he cupped your cheeks and stared at you through his mask

"Look at me." He ordered. Your eyes widened as you looked at Ghost through his skull mask, You placed your hands around his wrist trying to make him let go of his grip on your cheeks.

"Let go of me!" you said and looked at Ghost, You're scared of Ghost, for a good reason. He looks intimidating, and as you've already seen. He doesn't take any crap from anyone. The cigarette still in his mask, he doesn't seem bothered by your hands on his wrists, in fact... it seemed like you were the one struggling to get him to let go of your cheeks.

He stares at you, his eyes peering into yours. "Listen to me rookie, and listen to me carefully." Ghost's tone of voice turns slightly softer. "You might not think it, but we're a team, a family."He said.

He was in your personal space and you could feel the warmth from his body. It was almost like you had just met a man you were already falling for. Ghost leaned in, bringing his face even closer, Your face was inches away from his, and he spoke softly. You wouldn't fall for his charm, you gave Ghost a pissed look and gritted your teeth.

"I thought said I'd treat you like a team, but not as family, Ghost."You said and started to wiggle out of his grip. Ghost finally let you go, he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. There was silence in the corridors.

Soap looked at the pair of you, he still was carrying his rifle, it was at his sides, it seemed he was taking guard of the team while Ghost and you talked. He spoke up after a few seconds of silence.

"The mission starts soon, I suggest you both act your age, especially you two. We'll be dealing with terrorists, so I'll repeat, act your age." Soap said. You scoffed and folded your arm, you sighed and nodded, it was for the best if you two acted like adults instead of children.
