Me and aether had now arrived into the city of Fontaine, I looked around amazement shown on my face.
Many people had turned to watch us as they noticed our different clothing.
"Come on aether let's see if we can find a place to stay for tonight" I spoke lightly looking around.
Just as we were about to head off, trumpets were heard not far from us, we spun around noticing the noise, me and aether shared a look before we headed towards it noticing many people wearing blue uniforms appear.

"What's going on" I spoke in a hushed voice to aether.
"Maybe it's the archon, everyone seemed to praise her, and something like this makes me think it is, otherwise why would they be wearing such a uniform" aether spoke.
I nodded considering what he said could be correct.

When we were within earshot we hid behind a pillar, watching everything.

A laugh echoed around us, as we spotted a pretty lady walk out in blue, she had beautiful pale blue hair and a extravagant looking dress.
Me and aether looked at each other acknowledging that this was the description of the archon that everyone raved about it.

A rush of people who had also heard the noise gathered to see her. The archon began to talk explaining her abrupt arrival, but I grew bored and I began to observing my surroundings, I noticed someone looking straight at me, she looked like the archons right hand lady. She had dark blue hair with deadly purple eyes.

I made eye contact with her and it felt like she was staring into my soul, so I waved with a soft smile, hoping she wasn't suspicious of us and hoping to celestia she wouldn't have to use the weapon attached on her hip on us.
Her eyes softened at my action and a smirk arose.

I spun to face aether, but now noticed he wasn't there but standing in front of the archon who called herself Furina, I ran towards him standing next to him, my bow out crackling softly with electro.

"Ha! and who is this another challe-" Furina's voice fell silent when noticing the girl she was looking at was the one Neuvillette wouldn't shut up about, the fatui run away.

"Hmph" a smirk slowly came over her face as she began to step towards us, or more specifically me. Her eyes never leaving mine, as the lady with dark blue hair followed after her, just a step behind.

"Your name traveller, what is it" her gaze stuck on me barely acknowledging aether.
"My names aether"
A tut escaped her lips as she looked aether up and down before turning to me.
"And you darling, what's your name?"
A stood my ground, my bow now cracking harder sparks flying of slightly.
"Y/N" I spoke softly with an undertone of weariness.

Her eyes seemed to glow at that a mischievous glint in them.
The klick of heels reeled me out of my thoughts, the lady from before was next to Furina.
"Beautiful" she spoke softly bowing to me slightly, which unfortunately gave me a full view of her chest causing me to whip my head away, a blush spreading like wildfire on my cheeks.

Furina laughed at this lightly, assuming I was blushing because of her.

"My name is Clorinde sweetheart" she spoke softly, her eyes full of something dark that I couldn't place my finger on.

"Well now introductions are cleared up, do you have a place to stay darling" Furina spoke lightly, still refusing to actually acknowledge aether.

"No, WE don't" aether spoke harshly, emphasising the we, the moment the two started speaking to me, aether had immediately clocked something was going on.

"Well why don't you come stay at our hotel, I'll pay for you two"

"Well, I mean.. if it's not an issue we would appreciate it" I spoke gently, feeling rather small in front of the two lady's, the authority was practically radiating of them.

"Excellent follow Clorinde, she will escort you there!" Furina spoke, excitement seeping through her voice.

"Goodbye for now darling!" Furina turned to walk away before blowing me a kiss and strutting of, the only noise now was the clicking of her heels as she walked away, and the murmured voices of the people of Fontaine who had just witnessed what happened.

"Please follow me" Clorinde spoke gently taking my hand in hers as I quickly grabbed aethers which snapped him out of his daze as he trailed along.

"This is Hotel Debord, the best hotel in Fontaine, which is where you two are staying"

Me and aether nodded acknowledging her words.
Clorinde pushed open the doors to the hotel, heading towards the front desk.

Somewhere else

"OH Neuvillette, you wouldn't believe who I met" a childish sounding voice echoed around the court room. Her body draped across the balcony, dramatically.

"Hm" a mysterious echoed from the other side of the court room, his eyes staring at Furina with a slight disinterest.

"Oh take a guess" she laughed enjoying the look on his face, which switched from denial to confusion and finally to straight faced.

"Who?" He spoke trying to hide the slight interest in the voice, wondering if it perhaps could be he-

"Y/N"

Neuvillette's eyes widened, this was it, his prayers had been answered too, and he would be damned if he was going to let her go.
