Waking up

Nyers eyes fluttered as he began to open them, quickly closing his eyes again once a bright light made its way to his gaze. His wings ached, his legs bloody and bruised along side his arms.

Nyer looked around the room, it was white, small, and had a single bed in the corner, a small desk on the other side, and a chair, both the table and chair were nailed into the ground and wall.

The sound of voices talking caught his attention as he turned his gaze to the big white door, he couldn't see the other side of the door, but he noticed a blinking light on the right of the door and what looked like a code.

The door made a weird noise as it cracked open, one side of the door sliding to the left and the other side of the door sliding to the right. Soon after the doors opened a tall man with brunette hair and pale skin walked in the room, looking at a clipboard in his hand as he held a pen in the other. Nyer squinted his eyes at the man.

Soon enough, the pale man looked up from the clipboard and saw Nyer looking at him. He then clicked a button on his coat before speaking;

"205 is now awake, we can start the tests now."
His voice was deep as he had a serious face.

Nyer furrowed his eyebrows.
'Testing?' he thought to himself. Before he had anymore time to think the man interrupted.

"Hello, experiment 205. I am sure your wondering where you are right now, especially since you just regained conciousness. " The man paused before speaking again.
"I'll tell you where you are, you're in Area A of our facility, which is a top secret lab. I'll be the one in charge of studying you for the rest of your life. Do you have any questions?" His voice was cold as he looked up to Nyer, with raised eyebrows.

Nyer frowned as he growled quietly at the man.

"I'll take that as a no. So I assume that you'll like to know what you're being tested for an what were will be studying?" The scientist looked at him, scanning his face and body, he was studying him. Nyer squinted his eyes at the man again.

"We'll mostly be studying your physical abilities. I mean, you're a pretty interesting subject for us, a hybrid species, we've only heard myths and legends about you but you're the real deal.. now, are you willing to cooperate?" the man asked with raised eyebrows.

He frowned angrily, he tried to speak but the problem is..he didn't know much english, he barely even knew the basic words... so he just growled again.

The doctor hummed as he scanned Nyers face "I guess I'll take that as a yes."
The scientist then walked over to one of the large cabinets in the room. When did that even get there? Nyer must've only just noticed it now. The scientist opened the cabinet and pulled out 2 small syringes filled with a light green liquid. He then walked over to Nyer who was chained up, his legs bound and his wings pinned to the wall behind him.

"I need to check your blood, the syringe is just for a small blood sample." he explained quickly as he looked up to the hybrid.

His eyes widened at the word 'blood sample' I mean, he's fine with blood, but only if it's isn't his. He then panicked and started to kick around frantically, he wasn't able to move sprung much though due to his wings being pinned.

"Stop moving!" The scientist grabbed his head and held his head in place."Calm, down. I don't want to hurt you. I'm just going to take a sample of your blood." before Nyer had anymore time to freak out again , the scientist then injected the first syringe into the hybrids arm, the liquid was flowing through the syringe to his veins quickly. He let out a loud animal like yelp before he tried to bite the scientists hand. "Calm.. Down." The scientist was unfazed by his attempts to bite him. After a few seconds the doctor pulled the syringe out, he then looked at the syringe to see blue liquid swishing around. "There you go, one blood sample. Now for the test."The scientist stood up and walked over to the desk in the room , he grabbed a clipboard and held it up in front of the hybrid, he then pressed the button on his coat again before speaking."Doctor Crow to HOD of LCCL, i am going to begin the tests now" He said in a deep monotone voice.
A muffled voice spoke back to the man who was now known as Doctor Crow, looked up at Nyer again.

"Beginning test 23."
