For the next month, Izuku trains with Allmight and Torino and eventually learns to use Full cowling at 5%. And Allmight gives Izuku a call for a mission "Midoriya, UA will be having a trip to USJ, which is where they will train with pro heroes. I want you to come to make sure the students are safe. I won't be there, it will be Aizawa, I have already alerted him that you're coming." Allmight says, "Alright, let me know where I need to be and when" Izuku replied. Izuku also now has a few more upgrades in his suit, which has grapples as an extension of his gauntlets, and his staff can now absorb energy from OFA.

A week later, Izuku follows UA to the USJ. He stays on guard, watching out for any signs of villain attacks on top of a post. He analysis the different students and what quirks they seemed to have, and brought his computer to note down as much information as possible about the students due to his interest of quirks and heroes, as he saved the information on a USB stick. He was given the names of each student through a file sent to him by Allmight, he was surprised that Bakugo actually got in "He got in? If it weren't for that quirk he'd be expelled on the spot" He says to himself jokingly.

Things seem to be going well, with Students training with pro heroes. Until the inevitable happens, a bunch of villains infiltrate UA, Izuku was shocked by the sheer number of villains, as well as everyone in the USJ.  He sends a warning signal to the Heroes, and students, and quickly rushes in to slow down the villains. He lunges in with his grapples, as he slingshots himself into the action and turning on full cowling 5%, he grabs his staff and then bashes the villains as he grapples down hitting their head, he traverses the area with his grapples, getting them in the legs and head making sure to keep them from reaching the students. But when he throws his staff to hit the Nomu in the nape, suddenly a portal appears that takes in the staff, and gets teleported behind him, as he dodges his own staff from behind. "A portal quirk, fascinating" Before he has time to think about how it works, the Nomu lunges behind him, but is stopped by Shoto as he freezes the Nomu in place.

Aizawa shows up and tried to neutralise the Nomu by erasing his quirk, but to no avail, the Nomu notices him and starts running towards Aizawa. But Bakugo distracts him with his explosions "C'mere you big fat bastard!" he yells to get his attention, Shoto backs him up to keep the Nomu distracted. As this happens, Izuku grapples towards Kurogiri, and tries to engage him in combat, but his portals keep letting him evade his attacks. He analysis the situation and notices how all his portals are connected, and he could use this against him. Meanwhile Shoto manages to freeze the Nomu's Arm and leg solid and Bakugo shatters it with his explosions, thinking they've defeated the Nomu, they are mistaken as a few seconds later the Nomu begins to heal rapidly and his arms starts growing back. "What?! Even the strongest healing quirks aren't that fast" Shoto says in shock. Aizawa continues to fight off other villains, as UA students take on others. Izuku while fighting Kurogiri figures a way to defeat him, as kurogiri uses a portal to block his staff, Izuku throws an explosive towards the exiting portal, and jumps back. The explosion hits Kurogiri and he gets incapacitated.

Shigaraki tries to use his decay on Aizawa while's he distracted fighting villains, but Izuku notices and grapple's towards a tree next to him, and charges a 20% one for all punch. But right before he could hit Shigaraki from behind, the Nomu showed up blocking the punch with his body, the Nomu then grabbed Izuku and smashed him into the ground. Izuku struggled to break free from his grip, and it seemed with this would be his end.

Izuku thought to himself "Is this how I'm going out?, everyone is trying to fend off the other villains, the Nomu can heal faster than we can hurt him, this can't be my end. I WONT ALLOW IT!"
