I (Bonus): Park Chaeyoung

"Thank you for the long wait, please sit over here", having no answer Mama Kim repeats to the girl, in the waiting corner who was reading her magazine, to come to settle on the hairdressing chair for her dye. 

Advancing in front of the young girl, she repeated herself, this time the young brunette lowered her magazine and pointed her finger at herself, a surprised look on her face. Smiling, Mama Kim nods to the girl leading her to the chair, "This way please". 

"So, what hairstyle do you want my dear?" the soon middle-aged woman started. By handling her client's hair she realizes that they are wet, she even finds a leaf. " uh... is it becoming a trend to jump into the river lately?" she thinks to herself remembering her adventurous daughter. 

A few minutes later, the young brunette points to a picture in the magazine, more precisely to the hairstyle of a young woman with blonde hair that reaches her shoulders. "Alright then, I think blonde will suit you beautifully" smiled Mama Kim. " She's a very silent girl, that changes from my grumpy nini bear," she thought again. 

15 minutes later, the door opens, and the little bell from above rings. A woman who is about the same age as Mama Kim enters, she asks directly to the latter, " What hairstyle are you going to do my girl's hair?" 

"Oh, hi, you must be her mother, ma'am. She wants this, and I'm sure she will look swell in it!" she exclaimed. "No. This, please", the mother interjected pointing to the picture of a woman with short black hair cut like a boy. "Oh, like a boy... I see", she turns back to the silent young brunette and asks her if that's what she wants. 

"It's no use, she can't hear..." muttered sadly the mother of the girl. " It's far worse without her hearing aids today. I couldn't find them because some kid threw them into the river... even though, apparently, she went in, looking for them." "Someone threw them out ??" repeated Mama Kim horrified by the thought of someone doing that to this poor girl who has the beauty of an angel. " She's being bullied at school. It's fine, I will send her to a special school soon. I want her, to be strong like a boy. Now please cut her hair like I said". 

Hesitating before starting her job, Mama Kim slips a note in the magazine for the young brunette to read, ' YOUR MOM SAID SHE WANTS ME TO CUT YOUR HAIR LIKE THIS, IS IT OKAY? ' says the note placed next to the picture the mother was pointing out previously. Concerned that the hairstylist was gonna listen to her mother, she shakes her head no, a bit relieved that she asked her what she really wanted before starting to do her hair. 

An hour and a half later, Mama Kim is done doing the hair of the young brunette now blonde. She signs her that they are done and walks toward the mother of the latter. " How do you like it?" Mama Kim asks. " Are you deaf too..."  started the middle-aged woman, " I'm sorry ma'am, I thought it looked better this way..." " I'm the one who's paying !" " Still, you should respect what your child wants-" " I didn't ask for your opinion! I don't need to listen to hers either ! All that matters to me is that I don't want her to be bullied at school !" snapped the mother, that silenced Mama Kim. 

"How dare you ignore your customer like this, I'll never come here again" she raged again placing the money harshly on the counter before grabbing her daughter's arm and storming out of the saloon. " I am very sorry ma'am," said again Mama Kim watching her angry customer and her daughter walking away. The young blonde, despite everything, seemed unfazed and truthfully happy with her new looks, even though her mother dragged her to the exit, she turned her head and bowed lightly to Mama Kim, giving a genuine big smile, and then she caught up with her mother, never turning back again. 

She can't hear, neither can she speak. But a lot of people have changed after they met her! Do you want to see her, too?
