Chapter 3

After three more classes its lunch. I go to my locker and get a medium sized pink box that has food in it.

I walk down the hall pushing through all the taller people and the ones that don't care about the rules and make out with random people.

When I finally reach the lunchroom I find a place that's not around anyone. I Find a place in the corner near the steps that lead upstairs.

I put my earphones on and play some music. I sit on the second step letting my feet dangle down on the stairs.

Out of nowhere I feel a earbud get taken out of my ear and into someone else's. Then a hand gets wrapped around my waist and I get pulled closer to the person.

I look up and see Luke eating a apple and noding his head to the music.

"Well that's a way to ask to listen." I smerk

"I know right." He smiles. I feel his hand still on my waist.

"So. Why ya sitting here... Alone?"

"Luke I told you in class. You didn't believe me?"

"Well no. You seem really cool I just don't understand why know one would hangout with you."

'Thanks but let's just say, I've made some mistakes."

"If you mind, can you tell me?"

"I'm not gonna tell you but I'll give u hints once in a while." I got up and threw away my stuff.

The end of the day

I get all my books from my locker and start filling my bag up. I start walking through the hallway when I feel hands on my shoulders. They feel cold. I turn around to see Maddie or, Madison standing behind me.

I turn around and walk again when I feel her grab my wrist and turn me around. She start running towards the locker rooms. She pushes me in and slams me against a locker.

"Maddie! What are you doing?!" I try to move but she pushes me at the locker again and puts her hand on the sides of me so I can't move.

"This... is what you want? I neglected you all summer so do you want this?" She said looking at me straight in the eye. The way she would say this, made me get goosebumps.

"Maddie what do you mean?"

"Do you want me to show you what I mean?"

"Maddie!" I scream. "I don't have time for this. Tell me what your doing!"

"I thought... maybe if I... um." I looked at her and tilted my head. "Never mind this was a stupid idea."

"Maddie tell me." I said in a gentle voice

"I was going to kiss you." She said looking down at the ground with her hands still blocking me from moving.

I looked at her. Confused. She looked up at me with a tear on her cheek. I remembered how she hates when people are mad at her.

"Please forgive m-" I didn't let her finish. I hugged her then picked up my bag and ran out the school.

Home

I kept getting text from Madison but I didn't answer. My phone vibrated so much that I shut it down. I felt sick to my stomach and I didn't want to be bothered so I put a sign on my door saying that I'm not feeling good so please knock if you want to talk to me.

"Hey Lex, me and your dad are going out for dinner so if you need anything call us." Said my mom.

"Yeah ok." I mumbled laying on my bed in a pink bunny onesie.
