Chapter 18

When Michael, Ashton, Calum, Luke, and I pulled away from the hug I smiled and walked close to the edge of the building.

I looked up forgetting about everything; my fears, and any bad thoughts.

it started getting darker and all the lights started turning on.

It looked so beautiful.

When I finally looked down I was terrified.

I have had a fear of hights since I was 10.

My mom and I were doing a slingshot rollercoaster and when we 1/3 of the way up one of the ropes snapped.

The ride fell to the ground but luckily we were close to the ground so knowone got hurt.

When I looked down I jumped backwards and fell to the ground.

I was scared. Tears ran down my cheeks and my heart was racing.

Ashton, Michael, and Calum already went home was just me and Luke.

When Luke noticed me crying he ran behind me and hugged me.

He picked me up and made me stand. My legs felt like jelly and I held onto his shirt.

He wiped the tears from my cheeks. "Lex? What's wrong?" He said holding my hips so I'm standing.

"Im... scared..." I said and he looked at me confused.

"Scared of what? He said

"H-hights."

"Can I help you?"

"No please Luke. I'm scared. Dont." I said but he didn't care.

He picked me up, bridal style, as I barried my head in his chest.

"Luke! Please stop!" I scrame and he walked close to the edge still holding me in his arms.

"Lexi please just look." He said in a gental voice.

I cried. "I'm scared!"

"Please. For me?"

I sniffed and moved my head from his chest I looked down and saw how close he was to the edge.

I scrame and he quickly backed up.

"Lexi don't do that!" He said then calmed down

"I'm sorry." I said and stopped crying.

I got out of his arms and walked to the edge. I looked down and took a deep breath.

I put my hand on my heart and felt it beat wildly. It started to calm down when I felt Luke's arms wrap around me.

I put my hands on his arms and leaned my head against his chest and he put his head on mine as we lookee out into the distance.

"So your ok now?" He asked.

"I guess... im still scared but... Ill be fine. Aslong as I'm with you." I said and he kissed my neck.

"Babe. You keep my sane. And what you said was cheesy but ill take it." He said and I giggled.

"I'm just surprised that I even have you." I said.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Your an amazing guy. Your cute, funny, nice, you like cuddles. Lets be honest. All girls love cuddles." I said and he laughed.

"And I love you. I'm so happy you even said yes to dating me. Your the kind of girl everyone wants. Im just happy i get to call you mine" He said and I blushed like crazy.

He turned me around and kissed me. I smiled during the kiss and i knew this was the right thing.

Luke's P.O.V

I never expected to meet such an amazing, beautiful, and caring girl.

She is everything every guy would want. But I have her. And only me.
