Eddie had recently escaped doctor Brenner's lab and was hiding in the forest, he was walking around trying to find somewhere safe to stay when suddenly.. Snap! He stepped on a twig. "Oh no..." he thought to himself.
"Who's there?!" He heard a man yell, it was Wayne, his future 'uncle'. "I said who's there!" Wayne yells again this time loading a shotgun.
"..." Eddie said nothing hiding in a tree but decided to say something. "W- who are you?" He says with obvious fear in his voice.
"My names Wayne," Wayne replies and he sees Eddie. "Why's a little kid like you out here all alone?"
"Bad men" eddie replies with fear in his voice and eyes as he tries to stay out of Wayne's reach by going higher in the tree.
"Bad men?" Wayne asks in confusion.
Eddie doesn't reply.
"Kid what happened, I know you're scared, but maybe I can help." Wayne says with a calm and comforting tone to try to keep eddie calm and not scare him.
Eddie's eyes flash blood red for a second but he hits his head against the trunk of the tree "no ten, bad." He said to himself.
"What was that?!" Wayne say's confused and kind of scared of Eddie.
"... it um... I... No, I can't tell you..." Eddie replies and he soon passes out falling out of the tree and Wayne catches him.
"This kid sure is weird." Wayne says to himself as he carries Eddie to his place.
