Chapter 8

Hela lands at the dragon pit then slides off of Cannibal back onto the ground almost giving Eddard a heart attack in the process

"You could've waited for me to help you" Eddard says with tight lip smile

Hela rolls her eyes at him and walks forward towards the castle

Hela gets to the front gate which opens on her arrival

She finds no one which confused her a little until a maid comes up to her telling her they will talk to her at lunch making her nod

Hela is putting her stuff away in her old room which still looks the same

Then her door burst opens making her turn around to find Aegon with a big smile on his face

"Oh, I thought the rumors were false" Aegon says walking up to then giving her a big hug making her smile and hug back

"Oh it's been dreadful without you here" Aegon complains pulling back making Hela smile wider

"Now come along I wish to show you the castle, it has been a while since you've been here" Aegon says then grabs Hela's arm and drags her out of her room

They walk onto the balcony making Hela remember all the times she spent up here with her grandsire watching the boys

"And there's my brute of a brother" Aegon comments

Hela blinks twice at the sight of Aemond who knows his way around a sword

"Gotten taller hasn't he" Aegon comments making Hela nod subconsciously

"Come on" Aegon says pulling her down to the yard

"Aemond!" Aegon calls to get his brother's attention

"What do you want Aegon, I'm busy" Aemond says making Hela's eyes widen at how much his voice has changed

"Well Hela and I can go else where" Aegon says grabbing Hela's arm and starts to pull her

Aemond's head snaps towards them at the sound of her name

"Hela" Aemond says in a breathless voice

Hela gives him a small smile

It looks like he's about to says more but Eddard cuts him off

"Hela, your grandsire has asked for you" Eddard says holding his arm out to Hela who nods

Hela sends Aemond one last smile and Aegon a smirk before wrapping her arm around Eddard's

Eddard can feel a heated glare at the back of his head and he's going to assume that it's not Aegon

Hela pushes the doors open to her grandsire's room to find her grandsire sitting up on his bed

She slowly walks up to him making him smile at the sight of her

"Oh, Hela my darling, darling girl, are you well?" Viserys asks his granddaughter

Hela nods her head 'Yes'

"I'm so happy you decided to join us in court" Viserys says making Hela smile a little

"You are probably wondering why I asked you to join my court" Viserys says making Hela nod

"I need a friend" Viserys says making Hela look at him confused

"I feel completely alone in court, if I can go there at all" Viserys says with bitter laugh at the end

"I need you to be my eyes and ears, I need your help Hela, will you help me?" Viserys asks in a pleading tone

Hela grabs her grandsire's hand and nods her head with a firm 'Yes'

"Thank you, my dear. There will be one tomorrow and after everything gathering in court I need to write down everything you hear and bring it straight to me" Viserys says making Hela nod 'Yes'

"Go on, I am need of a nap" Viserys says waving his and laying down on his side

Hela walks out of her grandsire room to find ser Criston making her confused

"Ser Eddard was needed by Prince Aegon, I will escort you to your room" Criston says making Hela smile a fake smile at him

She walks with him behind him but the sudden urge to hit Eddard the next time she sees him for leaving her alone

Hela goes around a corner and runs into someone

She would've fallen if it wasn't for them grabbing her arms

Hela looks up to find Aemond making her take a tiny sharp intake

Hela gets the weird feeling of deja vu

"Are you alright?" Aemond asks in a soft voice

Hela nods with a shaky nod

"I will bring her the rest of the way Ser Criston" Aemond says giving Ser Criston a short glare making him nod and walk off

"Shall we?" Aemond says taking a step back so Hela could continue walking

They get to her room to find Eddard standing outside the door

Hela doesn't hesitate to walk up to him and smack on the chest

"Ow, what was that for?" Eddard asks confused

Hela gives him a glare then walks into her room and slam the door

But she then walks out and gives Aemond a kiss on the cheek before going back into her room

Aemond gets a suddenly feeling of deja vu but its short lived when he realized Eddard is still there

"Bastard" Aemond says with a glare

"Cyclops" Eddard says with a smirk making Aemond glare at him and walk off

Eddard stares at himself he walks off then lens against the wall with a smirk
