Years later/Monkey king

Monkey king's pov:

I was still little the last time I saw y/n. She promised she'd come back. But it's been so long now.

Is she lost? What if something happened to her?

So right now I'm working on fighting a beast called the demon of havoc

I got an imaginary family but I sat on a rock and saw the others

And then I saw a female monkey coming on my rock

Her names Lucy. She's been here for me since

"Hey monkey." Lucy said

"What's up, Lucy?" I asked

"I saw that you were talking to your imaginary family again. And then the coconuts fell off the mountain." And she laughed after she explained

"I wish I lived in a world without rules." Monkey king said

"You heard what the elder said. "Only the immortal ones in heaven are free to live without rules." And if we were to break the rules, there could possibly be a slight chance of consequences. And sometimes you have to face the consequences of your actions." Lucy explained

"Thanks, Lucy. I got it. But y/n always said-" I said but I got cut off

"Enough about y/n, monkey! She left us, remember? She's not here. We are." Lucy said

"*sigh* I know." I said sarcastically

But I mean, come on! We've been friends since we were kids.

Next thing I knew, I heard like a growling sound coming from the waterfall and I knew something was gonna happen, so I grabbed some coconuts and bounced

"Hey! Where are you going?" Lucy asked

"Sorry, Lucy. Don't have time to talk right now!" I ran as fast as I could to warn them

"Feel the insignificance. Breathe-" The elder said but I cut him off

"Nap times over!"

"You again?"

"You're in danger! Follow me and-" I said

And I saw what looked like a tiger and he was about to take the monkey but I tried throwing coconuts. It didn't go well

"I, uh, thought that would play out differently." I said

And then I was thrown away and he took the baby monkey

"Come on! It's getting away!" I protested

"You fool! You think you're some kind of hero?" The elder scolded

"But I can beat that thing!" I said

"And save the baby?" One of them asked

"Sure, if there's time." I reassured

"With what? Coconuts? Coconuts are no threat to the demon of havoc." He said

"He could get a weapon."

"Ha. From where?"

"Oh, oh, I know! From the dragon king!" One of them said

"Yeah, the dragon king." I said

"At the bottom of the sea?" Elder scolded

"If you go out there, you will die." He said

"Says you." I scolded
