Our time

Matt's POV:

I know what skye was doing. She wanted me to spend time with my family, but her family had already left, so I decided to listen to her and pick her up later.

I know these last 2 hours were killing her. She went home, probably doing nothing besides watching outer banks. So I try to leave a little early

I pulled up to her house, and I could see through the window that she was waiting.
I knocked and saw that big beautiful appear on her face. One thing about skye is that her smile is contagious. When she smiles, your smile pops

Skye opened the door, put her slides on, and hugged me like this was the first time she saw me in months. "You ready?" I asked her "very" I nodded and slipped my hand into hers, opening the car door for her.

Skyes POV:

Matt opened the car door for me and went to the driver's spot

"Hey, we haven't our time in a while. Do you wanna have some? I have blankets in the back," Matt asked me.

'Our time' is something we used to do. Basically, we do a bunch of stuff in the car. We get food, scream Bruno Mars songs, find a park, then we recline all of the seats in the car and grab some blankets and watch a movie.

"Of course I would. Which song do we wanna listen to? " I asked, turning on my aux. "24k," Matt said, I turned on the song, and we started to scream the lyrics

"SO MANY PRETTY GIRLS AROUD ME AND THEY WAKING UP THE ROCKET (KEEP UP)," Matt and I screamed. We drove to Taco Bell this time for food. All I got was a soft taco with cinnamon twist, Matt got two tacos with the round donut things.

We drove to a park that nobody was at and decided to set up there. Matt reclined all the seats and I sat up the blankets in the front.

We used my phone for a movie this time, Matt wanted to watch the good dinosaur. So I put it on and we sat and ate our Taco Bell.

I cried during some parts but that's ok, Matt just cuddled me and wiped the tears away that were on my face. I felt dramatic but I couldn't help it, the dad dies.

After the movie we drove home but I was asleep the whole ride their.

"Skye come on,  it's time to get up" Matt Shakespeare me gently, "mm mmm" I hummed in tiredness. "Your lucky that I like you, now get on" Matt said pointing at me then at his back.

I hopped on his back still half asleep, I was smiling the whole way their though.

"Goodnight Skye, love you" Matt said placing me in my bed then throwing me my blanket.

It was like 2 when I woke up from the nightmare I had, I knew Matt was up so I went to his room. I knocked on the door letting him know that I was there

"Come in Skye" Matt said through the door.
I walked in his room and closed the door after. My blanket still wrapped around my body.

"I had a nightmare" I said looking at Matt. "Come here" Matt patted next to him on his bed. I curled up next to him while he was still on his phone. He put one arm around me and the other one still scrolling on tiktok.
