The trees oustide looked fresh out of a fairytale, I felt like I was in one. The big building, castle, that stood in front of me made me forget this was a place I'm going to go to everyday.

I walked through the old doors taller than anyone I've ever met. The building looked old, really old. I walked in to the peppermint smelled hallway with a few rooms on each side. Before the hallway there was a table with a couch on two sides.

A middle aged women came out in a pale blue suit and glasses, "Welcome to Oakwood. These are a few papers you should have filled out at the end of the week."

"Oh-" I said suprised as she shoved piles of papers in my arms. "Thank you." I said walking away with the papers awkwardly placed in my arms.

I started walking down the long hall to look for the actual classes and lockers. I walked straight for about a minute when I turned and saw people walking towards a big building.

I saw a girl with perfectly straight hair walking in the direction as everyone else. "Excuse me! Where do we go?" I said. The girl looked back at me , "There is a big breakfast for the beggining of the school year." She said.

"Thank you!" I said. I looked down at the paper and found my locker number, 206. I found it and shoved the papers in there.

I walked into a huge dining room, similiar to the one in hogwarts. I smile awkwardly and walk to a table handing out pamphlets. I need to know anything more about this school as I can.

As I'm grabbing one, I turn around and bump into a tall person. "Hey Clumsy." A blonde boy says with a smirk.

"Oh, uhm sorry." I say as I try to walk away. "It's ok new girl." He says with a wink. He starts laughing with his friend and that makes me mad. I hate boys like him, that act like they can act however they want because their dad has money.

"I have a name." I say, turning my head with anger. "Oh really?" He says with the same idiotic smile. "I do. It's Valerie" I say as I clutch my pamphlet in my hand harder.

"Ok Valley." He says. I roll my eyes, " It's Valerie. Not Valley." I say with an annoyed expression. "Alright Valley. The names Chris." He says as he winks. I sigh deeply and walk away from this useless discussion. What kind of nickname is "Valley?"

I'm sitting in the first class after the meeting in the dining hall, Literature. I tap my pencil on my paper when a note flies from across the room. I look up to see in which the direction the more came from. It's from the same guy I met in the dining hall. I roll my eyes and open the note.

What's class you got after this Valley?

From,
Chris

I roll my eyes and get up to throw the note away. He smirks at me, why is he smiling? He thinks this is funny. Gosh, I already hate him.

I sit back down and began to take more notes. I am concentrated until I get a text from Cam.

Cam 💕:
Hey babe. How's your day so far??

I sigh and begin to type back

Good so far, there's this obnoxious-

"Excuse me, Miss Clark. What are you doing?" The teachers, Mister Mason, says in my direction.

"Uhm, I was just replying to someone." I say as I stand up, trying to be respectful.

"Really, from who?" He says

"Oh, my boyfriend." I say as my face gets tomato red from embarrassment. Everyone in class giggles and I heard a few "Ooo's" from people behind me.

"Well tell your, boyfriend to stop texting you in class." He says as he glares me down.

"Yes sir." I say with a shaky voice as I sit back down.

The bell rings and I go up to the teachers desk.

"I apologize for texting in class, at my old school I was aloud to." I said to him.

"It's ok. Just know we don't do that at Oakwood." He says with a slight smile on his face.

I plaster the fakest smile and walk away. He has the audacity to embarrass me when his face reminds me to wear sunscreen. Gross.

"So, Boyfriend huh?" The boy from earlier says to me. Will he leave me alone? I don't even know him and he's already tried to talk to me three times.

"Who are you? Leave me alone?"

"You didn't answer me, Boyfriend?" He said to me, ignoring my question.

"Well, yeah." I said to him as I stop at my locker

"Huh. Not for long." He says with a smirk as he walks away

"Excuse me? What does that mean? Hello!" I yell at him as he begins to walk away

He disappears in the hall

What does that mean, not for long.
