When I got to my boring dull school, I noticed how it almost never changed.. how everything always happened in an order that never stopped. Like a neverending loop. I stared at the window at the top of the building, admiring the red... or was it pink? Stained glass. That window had been there ever since I could remember. It was like comfort for me, remembering when I used to actually be happy and everything was okay. Life has changed. Too much.

I was about to enter the building when something pushed me, almost making me fall down the stairs I was standing on. Luckily, i grabbed the railing before my head hit the ground. I looked to see who or what it was, but... it was gone. Nothing was there. Strange.. I thought to myself, getting myself back standing straight. I realized my books had fallen out of my backpack when i fell, so I picked them up and slid them back in.

I took a deep breath and then built up my courage and decided it was time for the day to begin. I walked through the doors and was immediately met with loud laughing and chatting in the hallways. Annoying. I tried to just get to my locker and ignore the noises, but they wouldn't stop yelling. I finally made it to my locker after struggling to get people out of my way.

After I put all my books and things in and took out what I needed, I headed for my classroom. I had never really liked having to remember what number my class was, so I just counted how many paintings i counted on the walls. 1... then 2... then 3... then 6... then 1... then... 4. I went into the classroom, staring at the ground. I found my seat, placing my stuff at the top of my desk. I stared at the teacher... what was his name again?.. right... Mr. Flamewood.

As Mr. Flamewood talked about geometry and symmetry, I was busy playing with my pencil eraser. Why am I even here? I thought, staring at Mr. Flamewood. It was like everything went silent, mute. All I knew was that today would just be the same as yesterday... and the day before... and the day before... What if this whole thing is a lie... what if their lying to us? Would we know? Where do we even go when we die? What if... what if... what i-

"Finn Pierre, could you please give us the answer?"
Mr. Flamewood's voice interrupted my thoughts. I looked up at him and then at the board. I had no idea what we were even learning about at this point. I just stared silently, all the other kids were staring at me... I suddenly felt so overwhelmed... like I was going to explode. I just wanted to curl up in a ball and rot. Why me? Why me? Why me? all I remember was the eyes of the kids staring, and then... nothing. darkness.
