So.....Firestar. In the first series, I found him to be a great protagonist. It seemed like he aged too quickly from the first to the second book. He changed a lot, personality wise. After that, I didn't particularly enjoy reading about him. And he just kept living. Sure, a leader has nine lives, but seriously. I was pretty sick if him by the time the fifth arc ended. I feel like writers should shut the door on characters leaving the readers wanting more, not making them relieved at the death. He just got too resigned, and all the spirit he had went away. He wasn't an appealing character by the end of the series.
