Unity Day

Y/n POV

After I was fully healed I was able to train again with the other warriors and my son so that's what I'm doing. I'm training a kid named Artigas who is 15 years old, he's like a little brother to me. We fought each other with our practice sticks. My son is currently watching us fight along with some of the warriors who stopped practicing. Once I found an opening on his leg I hit him making him go down as we both breathed heavily. I grabbed his forearm and helped him up. "You did better than before. I'm proud of you, Artigas." I told him making him smile. "Thank you, sister." Artigas said. We put our practice swords away as it was Luca and another kid who is five years old to practice. An hour in Luca manage to get the kid on his knees and hit him across the face. "Good job, Luca." I said to him.

Luca gave me a bright smile as I see Indra come up beside me as she saw the fight. "Luca is becoming a great warrior." Indra said to me. "He is." I said proudly. She patted my shoulder and left. Luca put his practice stick away and walked up to me. "Is it time to go hunting?" Luca asked me. "Yes. Go grab your bow." I told him. Luca ran to our home and got his bow and arrows and went up beside me as I grabbed a spear and a bow and we walked into the forest. I made sure we're not far from the village as we tracked a dear. We both silently went down so we won't scare off the dear. "You wanna go first?" I asked him. "Yes." Luca said. Luca grabbed an arrow and aimed it at the dear before letting go of the string and it hit directly in the neck killing it. "Nice shot, Luca." I told him. We both went to the dead animal and grabbed the arrow from the dear. I carried the dear and kept on hunting until the sun slowly got down, by then we caught two dears, one boar and five rabbits.

Luca carried the rabbits while I carried the dear and boar and bring it to the village. We carried it to the butcher, he thanked us and started working on them as we headed back to our home where we see Anna setting out the food so me and Luca washed up and changed into different clothes and went to the table and ate. After we finished eating we heard a commotion. "You two stay here, I'll see what's happening." I told them. I went outside and see Lincoln talking to Indra and Anya. "What's going on?" I asked them. "The sky people wants to talk to us. But only the leaders so Heda wants me to talk to the leader of the sky people for a truce." Anya told me. "Who wanted this truce?" I asked Lincoln. "Finn." Lincoln said. Is Lincoln really that trustworthy to a guy who sent me to the sky box? "Heda also wants you to come to this meeting." Indra told me. "I'll come with you. What else did Finn say?" I asked Lincoln. "He said during this meeting that there will be no weapons." Lincoln said. "We won't bring weapons. Tomorrow we'll meet at the bridge." Anya told him. Lincoln nodded his head and left. "We're still gonna bring weapons, right?" I asked Anya.

"Of course, I don't trust the sky people so we bring warriors and hide them in the trees in case they attack us." Anya told me. "Rest up, you got a long day tomorrow." Indra told me. I left to my home and see Anna tuck in Luca for bed when she saw me. I explained to her what is going to happen. "I don't want you to leave. Look at what those sky people done to you. I don't want you to get hurt." Anna said to me. "I won't, Anya said she is gonna have warriors in the trees in case they do something. I'll be okay." I reassured her. I hugged her tightly and went to our bed and fell asleep.

The next day

I woke up and put on my war paint that looks like claw marks that goes diagonally on my face, I went out and grabbed my horse and hopped on her as I grabbed the reign following Anya and her warriors. We rode all the way to the bridge as I looked around for anything out of the ordinary. Me and Anya got down off our horses and walked to the middle of the bridge meeting with Clarke who looked at me before looking at Anya.

3rd POV

Raven, Bellamy and Jasper was hiding when they saw Lincoln running to Octavia and hugged him. "I guess we know how they got away." Raven said. The three heard hooves beats and see horses that they only seen in books. Raven saw Y/n with her war paint on and she didn't know that she would look so different.

Y/n POV

We were faced with Clarke who looked nervous to talk to us. "Your name is Clarke?" Anya asked her. "Yes." Clarke said. "I'm Anya and this is Y/n." Anya said as I kept looking around the forest. Clarke held out her hand to shake but we didn't move and she awkwardly put her hand away. "I think we got off to a rough start but we wanna find a way to live together in peace." Clarke told us. "I understand. You started a war that you don't know how to end." Anya told her. "What? No. We didn't start anything. You attacked us for no reason." Clarke said. "No reason? The missiles you launched burned a village to the ground." Anya told her. I had a feeling that someone is watching us so I put my guard up just in case. "The flares? No. That was a signal meant for our families. We had no idea. . ." Clarke said before I interrupted her. "You're invaders. Your ship landed in our territory." I told her.

"We didn't know anyone was here. We thought the ground was uninhabited." Clarke told us. "You knew we were here when you sent an armed raiding party to capture two of our own and tortured them. These are all acts of war." Anya said sticking up to me. "I see your point. That's why we need to put an end to all of this." Clarke said. "Lincoln said there are more of you coming down. Warriors." Anya said. "The guard, yes. But also farmers, doctors, engineers. We can help each other, but not if we're at war." Clarke told us. "Can you promise that these new arrivals won't attack us, that they'll respect the terms you and I agree on?" Anya asked her. "I promise I will do everything I can to convince them to honor the terms that we set." Clarke said. Anya looked at me. "Do you believe her, Y/n." Anya asked me. "I don't trust the sky people, they will do anything they can to hurt us now that they have weapons like the mountain men." I told her honestly. Anya nodded her head and turned to Clarke who looked confused of what we were saying. "Why would I agree to an alliance that your people can break the moment they get here?" Anya asked her.

3rd POV

Raven looked through the microscope from the rifle she carried and see Anya and Y/n getting a little pissed off. "Grounder princess and Y/n looks pissed." Raven told the two boys. "Our princess has that effect." Bellamy said.

Y/n POV

"If you fire the first shot those people coming down won't bother negotiating, just ask Y/n. Our technology they will wipe you out." Clarke told us. "They wouldn't be the first to try." Anya said to her. Just then we heard a yell. "Clarke run!" Jasper yelled out as he started shooting in the trees. I grabbed Anya when I got shot in the shoulder and ran to our horses. We got on our horses and left the scene as my shoulder started to sting like a bitch. "You alright, Y/n?" Anya asked me. "I got hit in the shoulder." I told her. "Once we head back to the village you're gonna stay there." Anya told me. I didn't say anything as we rode back to the village as someone helped me off my horse and helped me to the healers tent. I took off my shirt as Nyko put some herbs on my wound. "What's with you getting hurt?" Nyko asked me jokingly. "I don't know. Why don't you ask the sky people that." I said to him. Once he finished helping me I carefully put on my shirt and went outside and see a ship coming down to earth as the entire village looked at the sky. The ship is going to fast and then it crashed on the ground.

I headed back home as Anna helped me wash up and helped me to the bed even though I told her I was fine but she was worried so I let her. I immediately fell asleep once I laid down.
