Log 1

I awoke early the next morning, long before Stephen and the others, and went to check on the engines. I was surprised to see they were both still awake. Gordon looks exhausted, he clearly didn't sleep last night, and Molly looked as though she had been crying for hours. I asked her what was wrong and she said that she was worried about Neville and Murdoch. She knew Murdoch was scheduled to collect a goods train from Knapford and Neville was working the Brendam branch. Molly began to cry saying how she wouldn't know what to do with herself if they were gone. Gordon didn't say a word, the lack of sleep was starting to hit him so I decided to leave them be. Hopefully they'll be alright in a few hours.

Log 2

I can't believe it. Finally we have some hope. As we were preparing the engines the two way radio the military had given me started to go off. I listened in and the voice that came through shocked me. It was Sir Topham Hatt! As soon as I heard his voice the water I was drinking flew from my mouth. From what I heard he was driving his car to a meeting he had planned with the railway board when the bomb was deployed. By the time he noticed the damn thing it was too late. The explosion went off and soon the shock wave hit. He lost control of his car and soon found himself stuck in a pot hole. He sat there for a few hours contemplating on what to do. After some thought he decided that he would move up towards Vicarstown and get help and began his trek. He found an old workman's hut where spent a few nights. Throughout it all he couldn't get the thought of his engines out of his mind. He shuddered to think what could have happened to them. As he walked he heard the sound of a steam engine and ran towards the line to see us. He tried waving us down but we were long gone by then. After that he began setting up a fire and sat there in the silence of the night. He tried telling himself that all his engines were okay, but he knew that was a lie. He was soon interrupted by a horn in the distance. He hopped to his feet and ran to the line just in time to see Diesel pulling up. Diesel was happy to see the man who has given him so many chances and Topham hopped into the cab and they went to the mainland. I couldn't have been more happy and Gordon and Molly began to cheer up. However once Topham asked if we had found any other engines our faces began to grow glum. I was forced to tell him about Donald, Spencer, Emily, Duncan and Rusty. He didn't take the news well. I thought I heard the sound of the Duke and Duchess of Boxford crying in the background, however I'm not too sure.

Log 3

We've finally begun making our way down the line again and god it's quiet way to quiet. Our plan is to check out Cronk then make our way to the Iron Works. Hopefully Diesel 10 and the Iron Twins are in a good mood.

Log 4

We just pulled into Cronk and so far nothing yet. The station is deserted just and unsurprisingly had been raided. As we searched the yard we were glad to have found a shaken up Percy along with his crew.

He was glad to have been found saying how he saw Diesel come through and didn't bother checking the yard

He was glad to have been found saying how he saw Diesel come through and didn't bother checking the yard. He also mentioned Donald, but quickly froze up soon after. We decided to just let him be as he'd clearly been through a lot. As the soldiers were beginning to set up camp we decided to go check out the Iron Works to see if anyone could be up there. Percy didn't want to go so it looks like it'll just be Gordon and Molly. Hopefully Diesel 10, if he's still alive, isn't in a pinchy mood.

Log 5

We went down the old Peel Godred line till we arrived at the station or what was the station. The entire thing had collapsed. Honestly I'm not surprised the old station went down to the shockwave. We looked through the ruble to find Old Bailey's lifeless corpse. We didn't stay long after that as we want to get out of this old line as fast as possible. We pulled into the Iron Works and, just as we thought, was completely silent. Nothing but the rotting corpses of workmen everywhere. We also found the remains of Arry and Bert, who had both been tossed to the side of line and were heavily mutated.

Molly didn't want to enter the smelting shed so we uncoupled from her and went in with Gordon

Molly didn't want to enter the smelting shed so we uncoupled from her and went in with Gordon. Surprisingly there wasn't much to be found and just as we were backing out we heard the sound of Molly screaming. We raced back to find Diesel 10 sitting next to her. His claw was covered in blood and oil and it was ready to strike. Diesel 10 said that he only had his claw raised in case she was another one of those freaks and was going to defend himself if need be. Clearly he had killed Arry and Bert in fear thinking they were monsters. After we told him that they most likely were coming to him for help he seemed to show some remorse, but quickly hid it saying how we should get out of there. I couldn't have agreed more and we left the Iron Works.

Log 6

We just got back to Cronk and the base is all set up. Thank god I'm exhausted. Percy was shocked to see Diesel 10 and was a little anxious about his blood stained claw. Gonna get some sleep with the others, we're hoping to make our way up to Wellsworth tomorrow and possibly Brendam. Stephen isn't sure about Brendam after what Diesel told us, but the engines there might be in trouble.
