3 months passed, Paloma fell into depression .Her own daughter had betrayed her .Helen had also grown into depression.

Both felt their bond Break.Henry tried his best to cheer Helen up but it didn't work, she became distant .Linda didn't like the fact that Helen was paloma's daughter but she did carry the future heir to her empire,so she planned their wedding.

It would take place in a month, and to spite Paloma she sent the first invitation card to Paloma.Helen didn't like this one bit but changed her mind when Paloma sent her a letter, saying that she was way over Henry and would attend the wedding.

Helen was very happy.she was prepared to make her mother happy and gain her forgiveness.She hadn't seen Paloma since 3months ago,she moved away to a different city 2hours away from their city.

Paloma had gotten a new job at a new company.She was a receptionist there. Paloma was angry when she saw the invitation card, because her daughter was still betraying her and it hurt.She tried to throw it in the bin but it fell to the floor.

She got up to get it ,she bent over and grabbed it .She then leaned over to throw it in the bin when a strong hand grabbed her,she looked up only to see beautiful green eyes.she stood up straight us he let go of her hand.He was in an expensive black suit,he had dark hair,he was tall and mascular,He looked young.

He couldn't stop staring at her, neither could she.
Kelvin"you dare litter in my company"
Paloma"I wasn't littering,I was throwing it in the garbage when it fell to the floor."

Kelvin"you missed your aim, which means you suck at maths.Why are you in my company,in the first place"
Paloma"a second chance, and I will promise I won't miss next time"
Kelvin"good"
He walked off.later on , Paloma was called into the CEOs office after spilling coffee on his assistant, resulting in an argument.
Kelvin"you sure missed this time,Mrs..."

Paloma"Paloma and am not married"
Kelvin"oh,then you should work perfectly,I don't get why you weren't looking were you were going, and instantly crashing into my assistant, making her spill my coffee.So now she is no longer my assistant.
Paloma"what?why is getting punished,I know am already getting fired but please don't punish her,it is not her fault"

Kelvin"it is her fault, she should have gone to get my coffee,instead of arguing with you.And am not firing you,am promoting you"
Paloma"promotion?for a mistake?
Kelvin"oh yes, it's not going to be an easy promotion, because you will now be my assistant,you will be my side 247, and I mean it, because you will only rest when I sleep.And atimes I work from home,so you will be in and out of my house.

This promotion is for saving me from my former assistant,she was a pain in my a*s, now she will be at the reception bothering other people, while you assist me and don't worry I will pay you well because it's not gonna be easy,how long have you been working here?"

Paloma"three months"
Kelvin"this is my first time seeing you,I went on a trip,but am sure you have heard about me"
Paloma"yes"
Kelvin"okay, work resumes now,I will be needing you to fill out all my paperwork, because my fingers are tired and I will be going for a manicure too,you have only 3hours,so get started.".

Paloma started filling the paper work but it wasn't easy,the work load was alot.kelvin just sat there admiring her .She noticed and became Abit uncomfortable.2and half hours passed and she had finished.But she was exhausted from writing.

Kelvin walked off, and she followed, they went to the spa ,he was relaxing and getting a manicure and pedicure, while Paloma sat watching.He instructed the workers to give her a manicure and pedicure.

Paloma"am fine sir"
Kelvin"you won't be, because there is work to be done at home,so just relax them fingers"
Soon she had relaxed , she closed her eyes.paloma was overthinking and he noticed,he instructed the masseuse to come over.

The masseuse gave Paloma a massage calming her down.After the came to his mansion and it was hell,Kelvin was a workaholic.They were both working, Paloma would stop to get him whatever he requested.They finished around 12am.she had spent six straight hours working.Kelvin instructed the diver to take her home.

The cycle continued for a week, Paloma was always on her feet attending to him. she spilled hot coffee on him, burning him,she quickly yanked his clothes off of him, cleaning his body with a tissue.

she froze knowing that his bare chest was in her face, she had exposed his mascular body,he had a tattoo on his chest and arms she looked to him starring at her,he started walking towards her,she walked back until she bumped into his desk,he conered her on the desk leaning up to her

Kelvin"if only I could kiss away your pain "
Paloma"you can't"
He suddenly stood up and pulled her onto him, holding her by the waist.
Kelvin"it's worth the try"
He kissed her strongly not letting her go as she struggled,she broke free and slapped him.

Paloma"you don't know what I have been through,so stay away from me you perverted bastard!
His face suddenly filled up with sadness
Kelvin"don't call me a bastard, now leave"

She could feel the pain in his voice.
Paloma"I am so sorry"
Kelvin"I don't need your pity, now leave"she left and that was the last she saw him.She received a text from him, telling her to go home.There was no work for her.

The next day Paloma found out that he was sick,she came to his house .He told her to go home,there was no work for her since he had a terrible cold, she refused to leave.

She insisted that she was his assistant, and that she would help him.He asked her not to fill pity for him, she told him, that it wasn't about pity,she was simply doing her job.

Kelvin told her straight to her face that she was lying and that she cared for him rather.She didn't deny it and confessed to that fact,but she told him that it didn't mean anything and wouldn't lead to anything serious.

He smiled again knowing that she told another lie,she was with him all day taking care of him, cooking for him, tucking him in and giving him his medicine even though there were alot of maids, Paloma didn't realize that she had fallen for him,or did she?
