Agent Carter was born on April 9th, 1912 in Hampstead, England, to Harrison and Amanda Carter and older brother Micheal Carter. She worked at a telephone company up until the death of her brother, Captain Carter, in November of 1940 when she joined the Strategic Scientific Reserve as a spy.
Agent Carter, who would later become a founder of S.H.I.E.L.D alongside Howard Stark and Colonel Phillips, accompanied the commandos on many missions playing a pivotal role in the success of the team. Many things about Agent Carter were speculated for many years until she gave an interview where she confirmed theories that had been circulating through government circles for decades. She confirmed that she was the supervisor of operations in the super soldier program (project rebirth)and continued to later train the commandos in her ways of espionage throughout the rest of the war. She also confirmed that she was the last person in contact with Captain Rogers before he crashed the Valkyrie [Nazi-Hydra plane that was programmed to release bombs of mass destruction to major cities of the United States and Europe when it reached a certain coordinate].
After the War she stayed with the SSR in New York before it was shut down and converted to S.H.I.E.L.D where she remained as director until she developed dementia in her mid 70s. She survived by her husband, two children, and godson Tony Stark.
