Jessie Rabbit sang and moved around the stage,   capturing everyone's attention as he slowly strutted.    Our eyes met,  and oh my they were beautiful and captivating.
Betty Boop rushing up to Pookie and I brought me back from my ogling.
"Girls,  we have a situation.   Daffy Duck is sick and can't do his battle with Donald."
Pookie looked solemn,   "We're down an act then."    Determination bubbled up inside me as I held Betty's hand.     "I can sing,  so let me help you guys.   After all,  I am on trial."   Betty and Pookie looked at each other and nodded.   "I'll take her back stage,  Betty you let the Boss know."    Pookie then started to lead me to the dressing rooms,  specifically a vacant one.   A few stylists and a hair dresser came in,  taking measurements and brushing my fur.    "Alright ladies,  this is my bestie Y/n.  Make her shine like her beautiful self does."

While they worked on and with me I got more comfortable with them.   We were all feeling bubbly and excited.
"I'm thinking 1920s?"
"Oooh yes!  I love it!"
"I've got the perfect hair style for that."
I was soon fit into a beautiful dark blue and (fur color) dress with black shoes.
My makeup was dark and eye catching,  but minimal.

"Ok,  so do I just go with the flow?"    They all nodded

"Ok,  so do I just go with the flow?"    They all nodded.   "Don't worry Miss,  your back up dancers know what they're doing."   I gave the team a thumbs up and left the room,  finding the dancers they told me about.    We chatted while we waited for our turn.

Jessie Rabbit finished his set of songs and passed us was I giggled,  excited for this new experience.   We waited for the curtain to close and scurried on stage.
The announcer came up to me and asked me how I'd like to be addressed.
"Um,  just Madame Chilla."
He nodded and left.

"Ladies and Gentlemen,    Madame Chilla."

I started to whistle as music began and the curtain opened.    I started to tap my shoes,  followed by my back up girls.
The lyrics and notes rolled off my lips like honey,  almost like it was second nature.

The crowd went wild as we got into it,  sliding and dancing across the stage and striking poses.    The applause only egged me on,  causing smirks and smiles to spread across my face.    The girls took turns doing tap solos with me joining at the end as a beautiful finale.   Looking at us you'd think we practiced,  but we didn't.

The uproar at the end was pleasing to my ears.  So we performed 4 more songs,  filling us the time Daffy and Donald would've taken.    The lights made it a little harder to discern people in the audience as I'm not used to this.  So I had no idea that the boss,  Pookie,  Betty,  and Jessie were watching me put on an amazing show.

When we finished we posed,  listening to the glorious applause ring in our ears.   Whistling carried though the clapping,  telling me we did a good job.    In the corner of my eyes I saw my girls blowing a kiss at the same time.   When they were done I blew a kiss as well with a hand on my hip,  winking to the crowd right before the curtain closed in front of us making it more effective.     We cheered as we shuffled to the changing rooms,   letting the adrenaline drain away.     We saw Pookie and Betty Boop squeal and rush over to us,  hugging everyone.     "THAT WAS AMAZING!  MY NEW FAVORITE ACT!"   Pookie screeched as we bounced up and down while hugging.
"You were outstanding Y/n!"   Betty said while hugging me after Pookie let go.

Clapping from behind the two brought my eyes to the grinning owner.    "That was splendid Ms. Chilla,   Pookie was right in recommending you."    My tail wagged as he continued.   "You don't really need a trial,   you've got the job Ms. Chilla."
All us girls jumped up and down at the news.    "As for the ladies you performed with,   I'm sure you all wouldn't mind working together like this."
The toons behind me squeaked and said multiple yes's.    "It's settled then,   let me know what days you are up to performing."
I nodded with a smile and had a group hug with the back up dancers,  Pookie, and Betty.
"Just give me schedule and I'll be ready."  I told him and rushed into the dressing room with all my girls.
